Oh I know it's still around and likely not to be going away anytime soon. It's just I remember it much more vividly as a kid since that was one of the most commonly used things....not many other products competed with it. Now, there are tons of things out there and I don't see, smell it much at...- secgator

:rotfl: Boy do I remember those days as a kid when grandparents and every other adult would slab some of this chit on them to help them breathe if they were stopped up. You could get within 10 feet of anyone wearing this stuff, and your own head would open up--even if it wasn't plugged up prior...- secgator

Really pisses me off they did that since EVERY dealer I know says OC has been the hottest shoe brand in years. Dealers are still trying get opened with them even today, 5-6 years after they took off. Typically when a brand gets hot, the demand to get opened and set up as a dealer starts to fade...- secgator

Oh I know there is a legit system in place that adds a method to that madness, but I know also it can be a screwed up headache at times trying to find some off the wall address. Thanks too for reminding me of "terrace"....I omitted that one off my list, yet it is super common in Gainesville...- secgator

Yet no one can explain precisely how the address system works in Gainesville itself. Most roads/addresses being a number--16th for example---then designating a street, court, avenue, road, way, place, etc....THEN a compass heading--NE, NW, SE, etc. 1459 14th St NW or is it 1459 14th Court SE...- secgator

You left off the most iconic trick: As the film is playing and moving to the take-up reel, load it with spitballs by placing them one at a time directly onto the film just as it gets to that reel. Usually a couple of hundred or so work just fine, and keeps the 'spitball workers' limited to just...- secgator

I found one just now that was up near top of the list. "Hemo the Magnificent" A side note to the one Spurf posted--Mr Sun. I would have never guessed Frank Capra directed that(maybe the whole series). They're nothing like his best known "It's a Wonderful Life"- secgator

My gosh that brings back a lot of good memories. All those videos with that guy were on our 'great' list. Can't recall the names but I remember the films on the body, how plants work(botany for lack of a better term) and other films. It was indeed a good day when that thing rolled into the room.- secgator
