Is the season over? So weird. Youre the second person who has declared that.

Yeah, Ole Chimp was pretty good at winnimg those come from behind games..... until he wasnt. Nearly losing to everyone (by design) doesnt work. Eventually you stop winning the coin tosses.
So you think we lose at home to Vandy, and at home to coachless FSU? Want to perma ban bet on this one?

He nearly lost to Vandy last year too and did in fact get clowned by Mizzu AT HOME. You'll understand if I count the wins only after they happen. He is still they guy who loses to every team with more talent and loses 2 or 3 dumb games he shouldn't every year.

You guys keep forgetting we hired Mr. South Alabama and somehow tell yourself we hired Urban Meyer.

Please elaborate. Let’s think about 2018 - since UF results are way more relevant than MSU. I’ll give you that UK and Mizzou were dumb losses, even if that was the best UK team we had seen since the 80s and we were transitioning offenses with Franks at QB. Still shouldn’t lose to them. LSU was more talented, so was FSU. MSU was more complete, thanks to what Mullen left his successor (how’s that looking in hindsight?). Even with Michigan having players out, most folks still thought they would win. I dunno, your hyperbole is largely unsupported so far.

It’s right on brand to keep saying things that literally are not true. Way to go. So want to perma ban bet we don’t lose two more regular season games? I’ll give you a handicap and you can have any 2 of the 3 remaining games

Im in between 4 and 5. Three that I "expect" and the two stupid losses to undertalented teams that Mullinz has every season.

We got luck A LOT las year and still went 3-3 in a bad SEC East. Usually you pay the next year for getting extra lucky the year before (see Tinerc 99 or Chimp 2013.)

However, recognizing my tendency to be pessimistic, I went with four losses.
4-5 losses. You've gotta be so dissapointed.

Beat everybody he should and 1 out of three he shouldn't.
If only I had an oxbuck for every time Law was wrong.

10 wins minimum in the regular season. With the exception of LSU, we’ve got all our toughest games at home or in our back yard.

Well we beat Vandy and Missouri by a combined score of 79-6 this year, so there's that.

Had Franks stayed healthy, yes, prolly 4 losses for sure. No way we would’ve come back on UK, and no way we beat AU... and our 2 losses woulda been worse. Other than the UGA game coaching (especially on OFFENSE), I’m pretty happy.

That's a hypothetical and you know what they say about hypotheticals.

But my hypothetical is what everyone based their picks on when the thread was started. The issue of FF starting over Trask is my other big coaching concern this season unless FF just practices better than Trask who is the kind of guy that’s just ok in training, but balls out in actual combat.

well i suck at picking games weekly....but had a good feel on how season would turnout

I think we win 10 games, but the cost of success will be the flood of guys to the NFL.

I listened to the new gator breakdown today. If the gators can score more in first quarter of games, show statistical improvements on offense and defense, they can be an elite team this year

And the irony of losing FF was someone called Trash ensured we improved from last year..............

The irony is it forced Dorky Dan out of his offense.

Of course, despite some of your celebrations, it was still a 50ish ranked offense.

True but I think most thought the FF that ended last year was gonna show up not the guy from the beginning of 2018. We easily lose 3-4 games if FF was in.

If things go our way with the o-line play, minimal injuries, and good breaks on fluke plays throughout the year I think 10-2, but if the o-line struggles, we have some injuries at key positions or times, and we dont catch some lucky breaks when we need them like we for the most part did last year, i could see 8-4.

I'm splitting the difference and going 9-3 again with a NY6 berth.
I was pretty close, despite assuming FF would be playing.
