The only way I can see it as it consideration is if Dak Prescott went to Jones and asked that he make it happen. Pretty sure that won't be the case. I have my doubts that Prescott would view Mullen as a great NFL coach, but that's worthless speculation.

Prescott would view Mullen as such a great coach he coached him to being a 4th round pick? I agree with your last sentence based on the fact that Mullen didn't set up Prescott to succeed on the NFL level.

A little respect for Dak, please. He's led his team into a two-way tie for the NFC East at the moment. No small feat.

If "Dan to Dallas because of Dak" is so spicy, why aren't we discussing "Urban to Dallas because of Zeke"?

I lost respect for your posts a long time ago when you called us all "perverts" with nothing to back it up. You told me you were leaving for good after that (after all, who wants to hang around perverts?), yet here you are, lamenting your lack of respect for a message board post.

Well in his defense, most of you do give off a really creepy pervert vibe. In fact I'm willing to bet you typed that response while wearing your neighbors wives stolen bra and panties while ferociously petting your morbidly obese cat.

Sumlin or maybe Cristobal would be intriguing....Fisher would mirror Mullens results just based on his recruiting ability and ability to put a staff together.....In other words he's a worse coach but better recruiter than Mullen.

I'd take Cristobal over Sumlin, we'd at least have some great recruiting again.

Gosh, I cant wait til College Football has a "real playoff" like the NFL so all those worthy under .500 teams get to go.

Mullen didnt exactly say he wasnt interested. Just said he hasn't thought about it. I doubt he'd go though. He'd have zero roster control.

You actually believe he would turn down an offer to be head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?

I don’t know enough about Mullen to answer this question, but not everyone is cut out for/has interest in coaching in the NFL. I have no doubt Urban has had multiple opportunities throughout his career and he never made the jump.

As you mentioned, the only Reason I even see any merit to the rumor is due to the Dak/Mullen tie, but the irony is that Dak has been the only bright spot (and Zeke to a lesser extent) with Dallas. So bringing in Mullen would make no difference with Dak’s performance because the Cowboy’s suck overall. They need a complete revamp and Dan is not the guy. Mullen to Dallas is a major stretch.

I do. They pay less than college and it's a notoriously meddling GM/owner.
They pay less than college?

Not only is that job going to pay more than college (next coach for Dallas gets at least $8 million/per), the facilities are second-to-none and the endorsement possibilities are endless. You also don't have to sit in a roach-infested living room recruiting some pizza-faced, snot-nosed punk and pretending to like his fat, mouthy mother. Not even Mullen is dumb enough to turn down that job.

You really need to keep going to those AA meetings.
