We’re going to be stuck with Mullen for awhile, so we better hope he upticks from 10. He probably will, and yet we could still be left holding the bouquet.

The incremental climb to the top.

They pay less than college?

Not only is that job going to pay more than college (next coach for Dallas gets at least $8 million/per), the facilities are second-to-none and the endorsement possibilities are endless. You also don't have to sit in a roach-infested living room recruiting some pizza-faced, snot-nosed punk and pretending to like his fat, mouthy mother. Not even Mullen is dumb enough to turn down that job.

You really need to keep going to those AA meetings.
Mullen would literally walk from Gainesville to Dallas to take that job.

Cowherd’s a doosh. He just got done explaining how the college game had passed by Saban, and now he wants us to believe he’s ready to tackle the NFL?

A second time?

At age 68?

Yeesh.

When? I do remember some plateaus with spectacular falls.
an 11 win season in year 2 in 2012? but hit or miss recruiting with numerous holes?
or 2 10 win seasons in 2015 and 2016? but garbage recruiting with numerous holes?

This really doesn't seem familiar to you at all?

I remember my stepbrother a long time ago describing his rich dad’s face at dinner as looking like it was melting, an obvious dig at how much booze he put away.

I think the same way about Grantham. His face is melting.

It does make me wonder who would replace Saban . As much as some people (mainly bama fans) want to believe , it's not gonna be dabo. I don't care where he played. He's kicking bamas ass where he is now. So who would it be?

Well, I also remember thinking none of it was sustainable because we had zero offense and our recruitment of the OL made no sense. Our recruiting is actually improving so I’m not sure what you’re seeing other than all three coaches had better second years than first - and even that’s debatable with Butters.

Bama’s deserving of a Shula third cousin.

Not even remotely. Outside of OM in ‘15, not one game of either WM or JM ever resembled the complete games we’ve played on multiple occasions under Mullen. The last two seasons have been by far the most funsince 2008/maybe2009. We’re also not loading up on DBs and WRs that we’ll just ruin anyway, or having fraudulent hat ceremonies of current commits because we’re too lazy to actually recruit.

So many good arguments and this is the one you pick?

In fairness, he tries them all to see what will work.

Wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Was just looking for some chuckles. Mullens not goin anywhere. Jones and him don’t mesh. Mullens happy. My point was this is as ridiculous a topic as my comment.
I was considering taking a hit out on you. I know a few good Italians in south Florida.

Glad it was a joke.

Yeah, our "fun" fiftieth ranked offense (better than 100th I guess) and our defense which any decent team doesn't even need to dress a punter. Great. Lots of fun.

Have you noticed this team doesn't do shyt for the first 3 quarters? Ever wonder why we don't just call the 4th quarter plays the whole game?

Well, our defensive recruiting is basically a mirror image of the Chimp days, nothing but Buck/Rush linebackers and DBs.

Offense? We aren't loading up on anything on offense, so you are right about that.

Hey ass face, you don’t give a single sh!t about the running game and you know it —our running game is what is dragging us down. Passing offense is ranked 17th, not bad for 3/4 year with an inexperienced dark horse you like to call “trash” (you should hang your head in shame forever for that one, sh!tbird), and no I haven’t seen this caliber of a downfield passing attack here in many years. Get over yourself you God damn egomaniac.
