:wtf:

Luke was there 3 seasons, and he totaled 15 wins in that time frame. Freeze was before him with 24 wins in his first 3, and lasted longer meaning more total as well - he had 34 in 4 years. Before freeze was nutt, with 22 in 3 years and more total. Cutcliffe had 21 in his first 3 with more total, and Tuberville 19 in his first 3 with more total. The only coach in the last 25 years that was worse than Luke was Ed O.

Even if you take away a lot of freeze's and Nutts wins due to the NCAA vacating them, freeze still has 10 wins in one season not vacated. So 10 in 1 vs 15 in 3 lol. The 2 seasons that Nutt didnt have taken away also still eclipse Lukes 3 seasons as Nutt had 18 wins in 2.
Just computed win percentage off the graphic ESPN put up. I assume that ESPN was using the entire tenure, not the first three years. In any case you can take your gripes to ESPN.

AR has some affinity to terrible coaches, so long as they look and sound like ignorant fvkktards.

Matt Luke coached the offensive line at Ole Miss before he was named interim and then full time head coach. Ole Miss fans used to talk all the time about firing him as line coach.

Tony Barnhart said it was a great pickup for UGA to fill the spot created by Pittman's exit. Said it was good timing that Luke was available right when Pittman left. He claims Luke is a good recruiter and a good OL coach. Time will tell. Just repeating what I heard....not saying it's true!

So you don't think that the fallout from the Freeze era hindered Luke's, or any other coaches, ability to win in the short term?

I am not saying that Luke was the answer, just wanting to make sure everyone remembers that Luke was never going to keep that job beyond another year regardless.
Matt Luke was/is an Ole Miss homeboy that was set up to be the transition coach that takes all the pain during probation while the boosters plan for the next coach and plot where and when the bagmen will attack once the new coach is in place.
Kiffy gets to step right in with the probation clouds starting to clear and he can now help target their "investments" by using what he learned at Bama.

Clear skies ahead for Ole Miss.

Is that what you inferred from a post that claimed Luke was the winningest HC in recent history and a response proving he was the least winningest in recent history sans Ed O?

Barnhart is and always has been the biggest Dwag homer around. I’ve never heard him say anything remotely critical of the nut lickers.

Here is my actually post:
Luke's record at Ole Miss was the best of their last four coaches according to an ESPN graphic
Your stupidity has forced me to go to wiki, time I will never get back. Here are the winning percentages of the last four Ole Miss coaches:
Ed Ogeron: 0.286
H.Nutt: 0.409
H. Freeze: 0.324
M. Luke: 0.417
Even you should be able to decide which of those is best. Wish Ox would oblige would be posters to pass an IQ test before hitting "Post Reply".

Just saw on the Atlantic that Kirby got turned down by Bobo and chose Chump instead
For what position? Ugly has an OC. Or do they? (What’s really funny is Chimp May be dead man walking, whereas Kirby still has pretty good job security, and yet, Bobo is going to USCe. Hmmmmm....

If Shart loses to us twice, he's gone in 2021.

The reverse is also true.

Probably OC, to “modernize” their offense. I read it was quietly done before the article went to pay site.

As if the problem with the "offense" on Chump or Chump 4.0's team is anything but the Chumps.
