They’re defending it now. Saying he’s a hybrid WR/RB. If that’s true, he should definitely look at UF. Petrine showed we will pass to the RB.

Regardless of how they label him, he's an all purpose back, which makes him ideal here because of the way we've used Perine as you said. If he goes to Stanford because of academics, ok. But the A&M move would be a major failure on our part, and also probably a bad decision for him.

We do. Kinda weird this year when they went off to college leaving us as "empty nesters." I kept waiting for Mrs G. to look at me at dinner one night and say "now what?" or worse, "why did I marry you again?"
As bad as it was for us, it's worse for the dog. When we got her, the kids were 6 and she has suddenly gotten very clingy - Mrs. G. says it's particularly bad when I have to go out of town for work.

And I'm fine with this. Because, if the NCAA creates a "rule" or something to prevent this then it'll be like Government intervention and will suck the life out of the current system. Equity is something to strive for but not be mandated or manipulated.
If we want to be included in this top tier, and I know I do, then we need to develop and beat our better opponents on game day.

I don't know if Locksley can be a successful head coach (or if anyone can at Maryland), but he's a hell of a recruiter. Always has been.
Edit: Maybe not so great a recruiter after all; per 247, the 2020 class @ Maryland is currently standing at one 5*, one 4*, & 26 3*s.
