I know this has been posted but...

7:36 a.m.: Ethan Pouncey, ranked one of the top-10 cornerbacks in the 2020 class, has sent the Gators his signed letter of intent. UF is also adding his brother, former three-star wide receiver Jordan Pouncey, to the 2020 class.

EJ chooses Stanford. Hard to fault him for that.
@Great White Buffalo nailed it. I thought his info seemed legit when he posted it, and sure enough, Stanford it is.

It was a bit obnoxious of EJ to put the UF hat front and center like that, then reach over for the Stanford one on his right. Almost a little spiteful, and now that the decision is made I don't mind saying I never thought he'd go to Florida. I've always had the impression that Emmitt did not have the greatest experience at UF. He's had his moments of rooting for us here and there, he's made a few sideline appearances, but overall Emmitt has never struck me as a huge Gator booster. Kind of like, we love him more than he loves us.

That was cute when Emmitt picked up the Gator hat from the table that EJ didn't put on, and put it on his own head. But then he took it off again real quick.

Oh well. Good luck to EJ. Glad he didn't sign with another SEC school at least. That would've been a bitter pill.

You guys need to get over it. Emmitt is and always will be a Gator Great. His son choosing to go to the Florida of the West is understandable; not all of us can hack the academic rigors of Hogtown.

I am a UF grad and bleed orange and Blue, but dang ya'll Stanford is Stanford. Its potentially life changing. I dont begrudge him at all. if football doesn't workout, which for Rb's we know can be dicey, imagine having that degree and connections made in silicon valley to fall back on.

Emmitt should've stomped that Ugay hat while wearing the UF hat, then people would feel better about Emmitt.

That has nothing to do with it for me...

1. On Roy Firestone's show in the 1990's he called himself "an adopted Hurricane" when appearing on the show with Michael Irvin

2. No mention of UF in his NFL HOF speech (no way in hell that was an oversight)

3. Decked out on DWAG gear for a recruiting visit
