Luck? Not skill? Talent? Preparation? Superior conditioning? Execution? Maybe a little confidence and perseverance?

I think it is a little of all that....including luck. We have a good football team. I’m not surprised we won those games.
Well, given that he has lost to a Pigbert or similar about twice a year for the last decade, no it's luck.

So games played years ago with Mississippi State rosters lead you to believe these 3 referenced games were won by luck?
His resume of playing with rosters he recruited, with more talent and some very fvkked up teams and he still managed to lose, yes, it's very clear evidence of what kind of coach he is.

I know, I know, we are supposed to pretend that losing to geographics schools and Pigbert or Matt Luke 50% of the time didn't actually happen.

I see 2-3 losses. It is what it is and we have who we have. Status quo.

Dorky Dan is pretty consistent at losing all the games "he is supposed to" and losing two in which he has a significant talent advantage. He burned a lot of luck this year with three 4th quarter come-from-behind wins. Im going to guess he falls beam to mean next year w at least 2 stupid losses, even though honestly we should be 10-2 in even a bad year.

8-4
I’m thinking you’re a paralegal. Because that is a weeeaaak argument for 8-4. Bring some facts brother. We were dogs in 3 games this year...won one. Favorites in the others...won them all.

Give us an O-line and a real running game and we beat the mutts. Trask will have the passing game rolling we have enough receivers. EJ gets more snaps and moves the team strongly as #2 QB. If Grantham calls aggressive against the big boys, not the embarrassment of scared coaching we saw in our losses this year we can take em both. LSU will be tough but Burreaux-less and beatable in the Rockin' Swamp. If Grantham torpedoes his own team again on the big stage give him a bus ticket. We can't go into the season with any goal lower than the champ game.

I see a pattern. You say stupid $h1t. I call you out on it. You give me a stoned rating (which I like btw). C’mon counselor, make an argument! 8-4...how so??

9-3 or 10-2. Defense takes a step back, but Trask compensates.

The guy lives a miserable life. I have wondered several times if he is really a youngster with the entitlement syndrome. No grown man acts like that.

None of that demonstrates that we only won by luck in the 3 games referenced. I believe that far more than luck was involved in those 3 wins.

Oh, I do too. We should have been blowing it out if we just open up the offense in the first quarter instead of the fourth.
But the guy who thinks we should be running the option instead is still in charge.

We should never lose to any other team in the SEC East. We should always blowout Kentucky and Mizzou and should never struggle versus Cawks.

There is a huge difference in saying we could have played better in those 3 comeback wins vs. we won solely by luck.

I don’t get why everyone is calling the UGLAY game a loss. Fromm had an outstanding o-line who gave him plenty of time yet he was still a 50% passer. They lost at least 3 starters on that line. I just don’t see them as being as formidable as others do. F**k ‘em.

Saying we had three 4th quarter come from behind wins is a bit misleading. The Kintucky game is the only one I see that fits the bill that was a true rally: the Gators entered the 4th quarter down eleven and were being lead by a QB who had never taken a truly meaningful snap before. In the scUM game, UF trailed in the 4th quarter for about six minutes and scored the go-ahead touchdown with over eight minutes left. At no point in the game were the Gators down by more than six. In the USCe game, UF entered the 4th quarter down 3 and on their first drive of the quarter scored a TD to take the lead; over the next five minutes or so the Gators put two more TDs on the board to put the game out of reach. At no point in this game were the Gators ever down more than seven.
Did we get lucky in the game in Lexington? Sure, we had some luck when their kicker missed a very makeable field goal. To call the other two games "come from behind wins" where CDM was lucky, well, not so much. You'll need more evidence if you want to convince me of your theory counselor.

I see @Swamp Donkey has become a pumper. Think he predicted 6-6 in 2018. Know he predicted 7-5 in 2019. Now he’s at 8-4 in 2020. Must be encouraged by all the progress he’s seeing.
