Yawn. We may have overall talent advantages but dismissing the awful OL and how that can equalize many games is ridiculous. And you know they’re bad. Franks was the other issue.

Have to rewatch but Dean got smoked earlier for a TD. I don’t think that was a safety issue but you know I’m no English or Grantham fan so... And they’ve definitely isolated WRs and TEs on our LBs a bunch this game. You need to rewatch. The play you reference was a missed read by a LB who was supposed to cover the TE... That’s still isolating and winning. Knowing our guy won’t likely cover is winning the matchup. But they’ve beaten Burney several times and I thought he was lined up as a LB but maybe star?

@ltraz - what is Burney today? He the star or an LB? I stand corrected on the LB if its star but hes the one they’ve picked on today in coverage.

Man did these two drunks just spend the entire game talking about Mendenhall and Virginia? I don’t think I heard them mention the winning coach a single time. We just watched a two hour UVA football infomercial. Greasy is the worst.

Their talent is the same as ours and were similarly limited and we had a close game. Weird. But you’re probably right, 100% coaching :rolls eyes out of head:

So if a coach calls a play, bc he knows the play action will make a LB not cover a TE, then u still consider that a talent win and not a coaching win?!?! lololol

I’m not saying that all and haven’t in this discussion. I’m saying their coaches did a good job of creating matchups they can win - via scheme or mismatch. They keep burning Burney with smart matchups. That’s all I’m saying.

@ltraz... seriously... was the issue today the 36 points and 550 yards or Grantham allowing an opponent to look awesome again? If you want to argue that Mullen sucks because he hired Grantham, fine. But the offense has been good.
