And as much as I never thought Wright had good coverage or route recognition skills
He was always more of a strong safety in the box type punisher/small LB, but we didn't have a true free safety type on that team. I have no doubt he'd be the best DB on this team today.

Great entertaining letter. It would get me fired up if I were playing.

As a side note, I understand the reasoning, but I still hate the targeting rule.

Great read from a great Gator. And Man, I think I heard that hit sitting in the stands that night.

Motivational too.........Hell get me some pads now.

Yep. I was at the game as well. That hit set the tone for the rest of the night. Similar to the hit Spikes put on Moreno in the first series of the 08 game. Fortunate that it was not on the OU sideline. Big Game Bob may have bullied the ref into a flag.

Targeting with mandatory ejection. Man that looked painful and set the tone for that game.
Years back I spoke with a player on that 2009 OU team. He said when Major Wright blew up their receiver like that they knew they might be in over their heads. I replied to him, "damn right you were."

he apparently hasn't heard about moral victories.

we are already 12-0.

Ahhh, the melancholy call of the Braying Douchekey. It provokes such a paradox of emotions!

On the one hand, its soulful melancholy brings a sense empathy at the pain and emptiness that seeps through in spite of the deep well of douchieness from which it comes.

On the other hand, the flow of vinegar and water that constantly streams forth brings with it a kind of white noise that proves to be, in a way, comforting and relaxing - like a nice long nap on a Spring day...in a sewer. :zzzzz::kiffin: :)

I wish Joe would now write a letter about WTF we were doing in the secondary using names of players and coaches stressing his disgust.
