I'm a firm believer that we don't learn a whole lot from non-championship bowl games. Teams are who they are by that point. So you can be elated or disappointed, and certainly can be concerned with visible flaws. But generally, I don't read too much into performances, good or bad(see Franks v Michigan last year). Nothing changed for me last night. Still not a fan of TG, and we obviously have safety issues both on the field and on along the sidelines. It's the worst play there I've seen in my lifetime. All in all though, it was a scrappy team that gave us fits and we withstood them. Good to win, regardless of score, and move on.
Btw, I didn't catch all the Seniors coming out on Senior Day. So I'm curious, did Jeawon Taylor go straight out and greet people, or did he sort of meander toward the sidelines, at one point jogging backwards, arms flailing and tripping over media cords?
