How is something like that ruled a suicide?

I know on the initial report, the conductor of the train said that the pedestrian had "stepped in front of the train."

You can use every cliche in the book, he had his whole life ahead of him, he was excited to go to college, etc. Just can't explain what has to be going on in someone's head to give all that up. So sad.

Depression is a terrible sickness.

Do you think the train jumped the tracks and chased him down or do you think he didn't hear, or feel, it coming due to wearing headphones?

I'm of the impression that most of these are suicides except for the ones where they couldn't untie the knots in time from the villain.

Really feel for his family. I’ve had 2 suicides by direct reports and consoling the family is impossible but you still try. I hope they can remember the bright light that I’m sure he was and not the tragic end.

Sadly, suicide by train is actually quite common and is typically caught on CCTV. It’s pretty easy to determine whether or not someone fell or jumped in front of a moving train.

My grandfather was a train engineer for over four decades. He had several stories of suicides, to the point that he eventually became almost numb to it. The company provided therapy to help with guilt, despite of course it being completely out their control. But it was/is very commonplace.

Really sad story. Depression, especially to that degree, is so tragic.

Having been diagnosed with bi polar, I know all too well what kinds of things were going on in his mind. Luckily for me i am able to see doctors and get the help i need. I cant imagine going thru all that with no help. God bless him and his family. Sad sad story.

Heart wrenching video put YouTube by his mother. The family was homeless. Clearly he had mental health issues but from what I surmise he wasn’t in treatment. A very sad situation.
