Ripped up subfloors to put in new light cans below.Finally finished replacing those 7/8” bad boys.
A couple of thoughts about whole house renovations...
1. You get to know a lot about how the house was constructed
2. Nothing ever goes right or smoothly
3. It’s a great way to destroy your marriage

I sold a home in Jupiter once and when they did a realtor's open house, one of the reviews was that while still a beautiful home, it seemed like the owner was a "do it yourself" type, but didn't quite know how to do it himself.
Fortunately, I'm great at landscaping and that won the eventual buyers over.

Had a great haul whiskey shopping the other day
Used to get this rotgut for $4/quart at Walgreens back in college. I'd use an Ace bandage to wrap the whole quart to my leg and wear a pair of overalls to sneak it into football games. It never made it past the 3rd quarter.
