Very good news. I just hope he uses the off season to toughen up a bit kinda like Chauncy Gardner Johnson did his final year here. If he sheds his fear of tackling, he could be very special.

I guess I just do not get it. this was an issue? Does he get drafted if he leaves? Did anyone care? Is he not easily replaceable? I have seen next to nothing from him during his time. Can he improve? I sure hope so. Maybe the coaching is just that bad. but the fact that Wilson has to make an announcement,:scratchhead: that to me will have little effect on a team now has me waiting anxiously on what Davis, Stiiner and Stewart are going to decide.:dunno:

Would have probably been a 6th round pick. Smart to come back but Elam outplayed him.

I could be wrong, but based on alignments I saw this year, I don't think the coaching staff trusts him much in press man coverage. Star could be very good to him this year if he bulks up a bit and loses his fear of tackling. Kinda like CGJ in his final year here.

Great news - for this year. Next year we will probably lose 4 of the 5 starters in the defensive backfield. I hope we play a lot of the freshman and sophs next year.

Got toasted a lot against better competition this year. For the record, I blame the coaches, not him, but didnt realize he was considering the draft. Would not have been wise.

Pardon me for not throwing a party for practically every undraftable player that decides to remain and use up their eligibility. Trust me I am very hopeful that every one of these guys improves and turns into a player. I just can't get overly excited based on the performance to date of these guys that many of you all are bending over backwards in excitement. if you had told me CJ was coming back, then yes. Tho he played safe and soft all year, he has the potential to be a great college player. if you tell me Greenard was going to return for his 6th year, hell yeah I would be pumped. is Greenard a 1st rounder? no way. should he come back to college ball? No way. but those guys who make a difference will get my praise.

I just hope you guys show the same genuflection when players like Forsythe, Delance, Stiner, Houston, Miller et al. announce they are coming back to play college ball b/c all of them + more are eligible to put their name into the NFL draft.

I have a different take. I thought he improved as the season progressed. I think he will be much more of a contributor next year
I thought the bowl game showed his physical limitations. On the TD, he was in the receiver's hip pocket, but he couldn't deflect pass. He was just too small to cover him. The other play was the one in which he closed rapidly to hit the receiver and prevent the first down. Receiver look the hit, shrugged him off, and got the first down. I am beginning to appreciate big, physical DBs.

I don’t think he was 100% healthy. I think he had a pretty big injury at the end of last year and I think it’ll lingered all through this year.

I like him at nickel if we can get one of Hill or Kimbrough to handle corner . That way we can let AB focus on linebacker instead of jostling him around positions .

From the perspective of these players, one has to realize that they are getting asked constantly by teammates, classmates, sports writers, family, and friends whether or not they are going to pursue the next level now, or come back. An announcement is a good way to get the word out. That said, some announcements are clearly over the top.

I really despise Foley, but I am starting to question my hate of Foley because I seriously think Firefoley is a leghumper troll.
FF is clearly a "glass half empty" kind of guy.. Requires everything in life to be perfect.. No mistakes or misses allowed, everything has to be perfect... Reminds me of my ex... A miserable person...

If he was a Dwag troll hed be celebrating the last three hires.

You people have really gone pole smoking retarded.

"I know we declared Wait Til Next Year and Uga beat us anyway, but next year we it is REALLY Wait Til Next Year time and we are really REALLY gon beat Ugaly this time."

These moral victories seemed to have you braindead.

He isnt a linebacker. No amount of focusing is going to change that. Merely being over 200 isnt all it takes to be a LB.
