I don't know about reverse counters and flip forwards and all that crap. All I do know is you can only have 85 come fall.
We've got 75 on scholarship right now.
19320

We lose 14 to graduation and CJ leaving makes 15. 75-15 = 60.
We've got 21 signed + 3 hard commits = 24. 60+ 24 = 84
So far I count 3 transfers (Lingard, Puuncey, Keeter). Assuming at least one of those doesn't have to sit then we are at 85.
The only question is how many fall out in the spring and do you over sign to account for it.

There will likely be 2 or more transfers between the end of spring practice and the start of fall camp. I don't want to speculate, but there's a few obvious ones who probably won't be back.

yep. Javier is obviously no longer a commit. Manuel may not qualify.

who may transfer out? Clements and Lenton come to mind.

Clements is a possibility, Lenton for sure, others - some rumbling about Trey Dean not being happy (he only played 7 snaps vs. UVA, only 2 plays after he gave up that awful deep TD), TJ Moore, and another player to keep an eye on is Lang. Again, I hate to speculate on transfers, but a few of these guys gotta go. I'd like to hang on to Clements, at least for one more season though. I also think Lang should move over to the DL. If Dean gets passed by any of the freshman I'm sure he'd move on also.

Clements is versatile and has shown a willingness to be a team player. I'd love for him to get a shot and make the most of it. Wonder if he had any success as a DB when he was a freshman

I hope Dean stays. He showed positive signs last year so I don’t think he’s a lost cause at this point, just not a CB.

And I’d like to see Clements stick as well, even if primarily for STs and mop up.

The others probably would be better served going to a different level of football.

I'd like to see Dean get a shot at Safety. I got a feeling that's his natural position.

Lenton was the first name that came
To mind . Jeremiah Moon isn’t as good as Bogle,
Diabate or Cox. I think he will see the writing on the wall and transfer post spring . Rick Wells is in the
Same boat .

I agree on dean. Lets see if he can kick or maybe grab the kick off tee the in between kickoffs. I just don't think we've seen enough yet, myself.

Wells reportedly had a really good spring. Given our depth issue at WR, he probably stays

ask Moon, cause he wasn't recruited for DT
I've seen teams play a defensive end at defensive tackle on 3rd and long. Of course, Moon is not a defensive and he's a not particularly large outside linebacker.

it's lunacy for Grantham to do it on first or second down though.
