My God I forgot all about that. Kicker Scott Freaking Bentley got on the COVER of Sports Illustrated. I was just starting my senior year at Buchholz when that issue came out, and I remember us talking about it. Geez, they must have been drunk that week.

If I recall correctly, we watched the final minutes of that game on the jumbotron of the Sugar Bowl. A lot of us stuck around to celebrate the win and they put it on. Seems odd that they would do that, but I'm almost positive I remember it that way. Maybe someone else can confirm.

I'd ask Darren Studstill, but I think that would be a waste.
