I would not be shocked at all if he doesn’t end up at UF. Not signing early pretty much told the story there. The others that didn’t sign early were because of grades but he’s playing a game that he might not want to play

He claimed he was fine playing S or WR. If true, he probably would be a serviceable WR. He sounded like a good pickup back then, but I really don’t know if this loss would hurt. Thoughts?

All i know is i'd like to get to the scholly limit and that means we need to sign some more jimmies and joes. If we process this kid then we need a comparable or better replacement. Id rather have a low 4 star then no one. I mean it's not as if we have a track record of signing a few short one year and then making it up the following. We consistently get the signing short part, but seem to always forget about going bigger the next time.

you're looking at it the wrong way. every scholarship short is that much more money for the AD and assistant ADs to give themselves bonuses.

they are used to fat paydays.
