UGly not in shambles any more. That schedule is brutal though. This may be an upgrade over Fromm.
For the record, Fromm will be a 2nd-3rd round pick. Newman is thought of as a potential top 20 pick.

Sources: UGA picks up grad transfer QB Newman

This past season, Newman completed 60.9% of his attempts for 2,868 yards with 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He added 574 rushing yards with six more scores.

Newman ranked second in the ACC in total offense with 286.8 yards per game and fifth in passing with 252.7 yards per game.
A top twenty pick turns down the NFL draft?

And he's transferring to UGA so he can live the college life for another year (as a grad student)? If he was good, he would go pro.

Our pal Maheo just channeling his inner fever . You better believe this guy has the arm of Daunte Culpepper, speed and agility of Michael Vick, pocket presence and accuracy of Steve Young and the leadership of George Patton .

Not a chance in hell is he a top 20 pick. Maybe top 200. I bet he regresses. Coley is pure trash

Dwag fans expect shart to hire a co-oc and change the offense to match Newman's skillset. Newman's transferred to run a pro-style offense but with Sharts penchant for lying to players, who knows what's going to happen.

Kubby setting himself up for a little bit of a Dwag decline in 2020. This would be good.

And it helps with the narrative that Shart is Richt 2.0. A buddy of mine who is a big dwag fan told me there was no way that narrative was true. He argued vehemently until I pointed out that after 4 seasons, Richt was 42-10 with one SEC title and zero natty’s; and after 4 seasons Shart is 44-12 with one SEC title and zero natty’s. Got him thinking.

I can relate to this. My stepdad is a UGAy alum and thinks he's an influential booster (he ain't), anyway, according to him, Beetle Bailey damn near walks on water, and will soon lead the mutts to the promised land. He thinks anything negative that has happened on the field or with recruiting/transfers is just a small case of bad luck. Just like his mutt buddy Chump, Kirby is a fraud, and it's ridiculous how blind they are to who he truly is. But, hey, I hope they continue ignoring people who see things clearly, and keep thinking everything is just fine, "we're just reloading", and wake up to a loss at home to GA Southern. Then they will know they have hit rock bottom, and it is well past too late to fix. There's a lot of Gators fans who know exactly how that feels.

Oh, yeah... f*ck 'em.

I was talking to the parents of a Gator player, this weekend and they hate Kirby. They said he is as dirty as people say he is.

Oh, I don't doubt one bit that he is. But there's a ton of UGAy folks who think shart's their savior, and believe he will do for them what Saban did for bammer. I don't think they care if he is dirty or not. As long as he doesn't get caught, they're totally fine with it.
