No doubt Clemson has recruited better than Florida. But Florida played LSU at least as well, without our two best d linemen.

The only logical conclusion is Grantham > Venables.

LSU earned it this year. To go undefeated and dominate the way they have is very impressive. Still pissed we screwed up and lost to UGA and didn't get that rematch on neutral turf.

That LSU team was one of the best ever. Unbelievable. And stop whining about the refs. Missed/inconsistent calls both ways. There should’ve multiple PIs on both teams in the first few drives!

I am a believer that defense wins championships, but I'm not sold on the hype regarding Clempsum's defense. Their numbers were posted in the ACC, and we all know their entire season is basically a warm up game for the playoffs. They played one tough game this year (2 weeks ago), and I didn't see anything out of them that makes me think they can shut down LSU's offense.

However, they have a great offense, and a ton of guys with championship rings, so they obviously know how to dig deep to get this win. I think it will be close early (LSU's secondary has athletes, but is suspect at times, and I think Lawrence will start out hot and find open receivers early), but I expect LSU to make adjustments and pull away in the second half.

Corndogs - 42
Clempsum - 28

Well... I must say, that was a pretty good prediction
