Hell of a season, boys and girls. Oklahoma Gator and LeeForThree ended up all alone in their slots, and Dekle wins the tiebreaker with the others for 3rd place due to being the closest on the NC game score. Standings are here:

https://gatorchatter.com/pickem/2019-ncaa-football-season.7/

Oklahoma Gator finished tied for 6th LAST year, so he really has been tremendous. Gator515151, the defending champ, finished tied for 42nd this year.

Tremendous participation all season, with over 100 entries almost every week. I expect next year to be even better with the changes. Instead of the winner taking $300, the winner is looking at $200 with the other $100 or so spread out to everyone else in the top 10, so there's more incentive to finish in as high of a slot as possible. You will also be able to drop your worst regular-season week, which will keep a lot of people from quitting who missed a week or tanked one. Payout will be something like this:

1. $200
2. $25
3. $20
4. $16
5. $14
6. $12
7. $10
8. $8
9. $6
10. $5

By the way, my wife is going to play with us next year. :fear:

In addition, I will be offering a PAY Pick 'Em league, a league which also will have payouts for the top 10. This league will have only 10 weekly picks instead of 20 in the regular Pick 'Em (but all the bowl games). The payouts will depend on how many people play, but we're going to need at least 20 to make it worth it. Right now the proposed entry fee is $25, but that's not in stone. While some people hate paying for anything, remember that the top 10 get money, so with a small pool there's a good chance of getting some or all of your money back. I have an algorithm set up with payout examples. So if 20 people enter at $25, the final top 10 payout would be:

1. $225
2. $50
3. $38
4. $32
5. $27
6. $20
7. $18
8. $16
9. $14
10. $11

As you can see the top 5 (out of 20 total participants) would end up getting at least their money back. Hopefully we can get more than 20 people to play and drive those numbers even higher.

I'm already looking forward to this.....but we have to wait 8 months.

Discuss.

Honestly it was a ton of fun. I really appreciate you guys for keeping this up and running. I know it’s hard as heck to organize this every week but you guys do a hell of a job.

I'm on the top half of page one. Yea! When this started, the first three weeks, I was picking straight up. Never new what giving and getting points was about. Even old guys can learn.

Yes it was a lot of fun and kept me interested in games I would not pay attention to. My goal was to finish above the "Oxdoza" line and I did.
Actually my picks improved significantly after I fired my daughters cat, and replaced him with her dog. Plus the Purina "Mini Bones" were cheaper than the Meow Mix " Irresistibles". Congrats to Oklahoma Gator.
