The fall may be as quick as the rise for LSU.
This is an interesting point. With the 2 Miss. schools bringing in creative coaches I can see Oger struggling despite amassing huge talent.
I don't think it's a matter of if but more likely how fast.....can anyone else see a Chizik type fall? I can......

Yeah, coz LSU sure proved you cant win by passing the ball, huh?

Seriously, this is the best news of the year. No way they manage to.find someone who willing to live in Loooziana AND understands the forward oass again. Back to retard Ensinger ball, and 60th ranked offenses.
Not to piss on your bytchin parade, but Corndwags also had a 1000 yard rusher, and Burrow hurt plenty of teams with his legs, including Bammer and Climpson.

Trask isn’t hurting anyone with his legs

Trask will have a bigger season than Burrow next year.
Love the optimism, but it ain’t happening.

They caught lightning in a bottle for one season with Burrow and Brady.

Trask will be fine, but he won’t have the same receiving corps that Burrow had

It'll be interesting to see if Brady left a blueprint and if they have someone to similarly coach and call it along with players to execute it. As impressive as Brady was with Burrow and their receivers, I find it interesting that not much seems to be heard about the job Aranda did (unless I'm missing it), especially in the second half. Their D might not have ranked among the best statistically, but they were certainly able to consistently give the O plenty of room.

it was mentioned quiet a bit on the broadcast, and a number of the breakdown shows after the fact.

I missed it :). Old guy made it to the half before expiring and then watched the highlights the next morning. Glad the guy got some accolades. He is deserving.

Ensminger (or whatever)? That fossil can't even put a Butters-like offense on the field. This is going to end spectacularly and catastrophically. Like Chizik Part 2.

The only way I see that changing is if Farmer Fran demotes Ensminger and hires a real OC. No decent play-caller will come to be a QB coach/passing game coordinator. They got lucky as hell landing an apparently highly talented GA who was ready to do the job Ensminger can't and probably can't even remember.

lsu didnt run a lot, but man they bludgeoned teams when they did. Edwards-Elaire was basically beastmode 2.0 up the middle. dude would get hit in the backfield and end up with an 8 yard gain.

He is leaving, but their two freshmen played in the first round of the playoffs and looked good.

Not surprised. My point was more to law's narrative that no run game is needed if you pass the ball spurrier style. We all know he doesnt believe that, and it doesnt really ring true in this case either. LSU actually struggled to get anything consistent going on offense until they started moving the ball on the ground. It started with burrows legs and then the pass game opened up, but when they were simply throwing from the shotgun every play, clemson was eating their lunch.

Coach O now has seen what it takes.

Unlike Muschump...he is willing to be accountable and look for change.

I can see LSU going for a Red Hot up and commer. But this year was FANTASY

That said, its Mullen Time. If he can get an OL...Future So bright I gotta wear SHADES.
