I am a believer that defense wins championships, but I'm not sold on the hype regarding Clempsum's defense. Their numbers were posted in the ACC, and we all know their entire season is basically a warm up game for the playoffs. They played one tough game this year (2 weeks ago), and I didn't see anything out of them that makes me think they can shut down LSU's offense.

However, they have a great offense, and a ton of guys with championship rings, so they obviously know how to dig deep to get this win. I think it will be close early (LSU's secondary has athletes, but is suspect at times, and I think Lawrence will start out hot and find open receivers early), but I expect LSU to make adjustments and pull away in the second half.

Corndogs - 42
Clempsum - 28

Chicken dinner for this one!

The guy just racked up 60 TD passes in one season. Are you gonna label him a system quarterback?
60 passing tds in a season is the very definition of a system quarterback

the system was designed to maximize talent, and burrow has a lot. it was both really. unfortunately for him it will be the last time he wins for quite a while.

He's going to a coach who will be fired after his second season. Then, Burrow will have to learn an entirely new system. Quite often, that is very hard on young QBs in the nfl. Plus, I have doubts about him as a franchise QB. Other scouts have brought up his arm talent. He has a very bad habit of completely under-throwing deep balls. It is no big deal in college when you have receivers like Jefferson and Chase. I think people are underestimating the amount of talent he was surrounded by. It is quite possible he was throwing to, by the time they enter the draft, 4 first to second round picks this year.

As great as he played this year, i also think hes not going to be the player the media is setting him up to be. Time will tell.

This. Chase took it to another level this year as a true sophomore. That dude became NFL ready and is a game changer. Like a stronger version of Ike Hilliard.

Brady probably greatly enabled Chase, and Chase and Jefferson certainly helped Burrow in that scheme. Perfect storm. But leave no doubt, Burrow deserves the accolades. Was in total command of that offense.

I don’t. I’ve been libeled. I’m seeking damages.
just because I've represented you in the past doesn't mean I can represent you on this.

I will also tell you but I keep all of my extra cash in the Caymans. you'll never get a penny of it.

plus truth is an absolute defense.
