I'm no film junkie. 3 kids make the live, in person version the only version. Use to watch each game at least 3 times.

However, Carter had moments that made you think, "If he can motor like Greenard, he will be better than Greenard."

I used to hang out with all the 02-06 players, so I'm not easily impressed by a player's physical appearance. But I've seen Carter out and about around town and he is seriously physically intimidating.

Carter improved a lot as the season went on. I hope they keep him at DE rather than moving him inside. The guy has a shot at being a first rounder one day which will help recruiting. That doesn't happen if Grantham Grantham's things up by playing him at DT.

Who else can they put at that spot? Isn't he the only returning guy at that position?

We played Diabate and Bogle in that spot. Moon was there as well. Even Ancrum got snaps in that position. Grantham rotates a bunch of guys. I fully expect to see Dexter get snaps as well.

Those returnees seem pretty light.......
I'm actually intrigued by the idea of Dexter as a DE. I have no idea if he can play the position, but if he could at his size, he'd be a beast.

They are too light. But, that is what Grantham has been doing. Some argue this is his philosophy which may be true. My hope is he is playing guys like that because they simply don't have size yet. Their current recruiting implies Mullen wants to get bigger.

He played so little this year. No redshirt I guess. I hope he gets drafted high and makes some $$$$>

I'm more interested in Brenton Cox.
They don't play the same position.

Cox will no doubt be given the wide technique and absolved of any running resposibility. That will make some stats that chicks like but usually ends up in them getting unemployed quickly after college.

Too bad Polite didnt return for this past season. Add him w Grenard (Grenard may not have come) & Zu. Wow, the LSU game & maybe uga could have been a little different. Also, Polite could have made a little more cash before getting bounced from team to team on an nfl practice squad. Go Gators!

Carter will make All SEC, a shot at All American, depends on how many snaps he has on the outside. We've been undersized forever at DT, but even Grantham has to realize you put your beasts at the best position for them to make it harder on the other teams to defend, so he should be on the outside. We're slowly getting beef for the middle, rotating the guys early helped so as they bulk up they already have playing time. We have a shot at having an elite defense if we can stop the 3rd and Grantham

We've had PLENTY of beef in the middle. They've just been standing on the sideline until the other team gets to the redzone.

Our redzone defense has been pretty damn good though.
