Had a Gator eat a mudfish I had hooked at Julington Creek when I was a kid.
Those are my stomping grounds.

A big hammerhead eating a tarpon boatside is quite an adventure. Seen some really big ones offshore in Jax / St Aug. Also seen some really big hammerheads on pogy pods on the beach.
After I tamed the area first. Those are my stomping grounds.
Once, I was swimming 'cross Turtle Crick.......Hammerhead bit my 175+ lb tarpon in half at the boat...thing must have been 12ft long...and a mako eat a yellowfin so precisely all I got back was the mouth and gills attached to my hook...gators with bass in Fl...and a snapping turtle ate my bluegill in VA
Wow look at those Mercury outboards painted like that....Back in the days when I sold boats we used to have a saying about Mercury outboards(they were always Black) that went like this.....I found our fishen boat. Wont take long to reach deep water in this one.

The first time I heard that song I thought wtf.........that is on the radio...........early 70s. I had driven up to football practice andOnce, I was swimming 'cross Turtle Crick.......
we had mercs. 1965 65hp on a 16 foot silver line. That 35 hp 57 evinrude would make our 13ft whaler run like a scalded dog. An old Scott Atwater that ran like a top on our 12 ft jon boat. We Had evinrudes and finally a Suzuki. Not a fan but my 35hp Suzuki was prettty good on my 15 monark bass boat. Our used Yamahama 60hp was the best motor of all. Ran FOREVER on our 16 ft Polar Craft. That was a fishing machine and could handle 3 adults and 3 kids with ease.Wow look at those Mercury outboards painted like that....Back in the days when I sold boats we used to have a saying about Mercury outboards(they were always Black) that went like this.....
