Again I ask, why is it that every marginally to almost non draftable player has to be make some big announcement and we are supposed to drive ourselves to orgasm? Guys like Etienne, Dylan Moses, Leatherwood and all the other potential 1st and 2nd round picks that have chosen to return, those I can understand the fan's genuflection. I am still anxiously awaiting the huge announcements from Stewart and Stiner. I expect them to be televised and to interrupt regularly scheduled programming. Give me a break!

I'll bet you're a lot of fun at parties.

Trust me I appreciate your knowledge and your views on X's and O's. But to listen to the entire fan base always talk about a "Percy" position makes me laugh. There is no special spot on the field for a "Percy" position. The only reason anyone talks about it is b/c it was Percy Harvins (nod to Nat Moore). The guy is the most explosive offensive player in the history of Gator Football with the football in his hands. The "Percy" positon means our guy is so much better than your guy that if we line him up at RB, he might go for 80. If we line him up at slot, he might catch a slip screen and go 80. Cousin Eddie has not adapted to Toney b/c perhaps he gets tired or watching Toney go sideways and turn a potential gain into a loss. Sure Toney occasionally makes a monster play, but negative yardage is not something that gets you on the field.

Because he's 20 yrs old, ya grouchy geezer. And btw, welcome to the social media generation. He'll update you when it's laundry night.

Now get off my lawn!

". . . returning to be a Gator another year." What happened to "Once a Gator, always a Gator"?

I'm not so much of a Toney fan all of a sudden.

Hopefully he gets better as a WR. Dude can be electric with the ball in his hands.

Smart decision with as many NFL caliber WRs in the draft this year; but beyond that: Toney has a lot of potential to benefit from this with our slot WRs (Swain and Hammond) having graduated and a lot more tosses to go around next year as a result. One of the big knocks on him has been he's not a reliable pass-catcher and that's a big no-no as a slot WR, as a tipped ball can easily lead to a turnover. If he works hard on that in the offseason, it would be a boon for our offense and help his draft stock for next year.

The exact same reason you post here.

Good Lord a decent, possibly good, maybe very good player is coming back. Give the negs a rest already.
