urbs got zeek eliott to sign with osu, plus he had some other quality RBs there. Maybe DM can figure out how to do the same at UF. Holding my breath...
I hope so but CDM went more conventional at OSU depending on which OC.

By conventional, I mean conventional spread, like Dazball but without the double helping of stupid.

Dan has changed, more RPO and occasional inside /outside zone, but he sticks with run first option first and short passing. He is a bright mind, I just wish he could go to a more medium range pass game (even 50/50) and more conventional run (at least til we get a running threat QB).

They are stubborn though. SOS missed championships because he wouldn't throw out of the shotgun (til 96 NC game) and didn't care about defense til 96 either.

Anyone remember Meyer calling our RBs "trash" ?
remember him being very derogatory, publicly, but I don't remember exactly what he said. eventually he just changed the system though instead.

I'm all for taking risk on these kinda elite talent high ceiling kids but if he's truly that dumb then maybe we don't want him after all.

Usually, a kid's bad attitude fades into the background when he's making plays to celebrate. ??

Urban changed his offense at Ohio State too, basically hiring an entirely new staff. This was one of the biggest knocks on Mullen bringing all of his "buddies" from MSU. He obviously changed up the O this year due to the inability to run behind our horrible OL, so hopefully he'll find a better way to get the RB's more carries/yards if the OL shows improvement. But once we get another batter ram back there (AR?) will he go back to the Tebow offense?

I hope so, and with the same offensive results.

I didn't see this posted. But, here is 247's analysis about Manuel at the Polynesian Bowl.

The Florida-commit remains unsigned and it's easy to see why so many schools are still trying to get his attention and on campus for visits. Manuel didn't get in until Tuesday evening but showed no signs of rust on Wednesday. Manuel consistently created separation and caught everything thrown his way. He was a physical mismatch for just about every defensive back he lined up against and all three of the Team Makai quarterbacks were working to get him the ball. ~ Brandon Huffman
