Thought Marco got better at tackling as the season went on, especially when he played star? And most seem to think Dean is a Safety anyhow so why not let him run with that role? I like the Burney idea too but he is still growing - right? Might actually grow out of the size we would want there and into a LB. Either way, the flexibility it provides would be great in the SEC considering the variety we are seeing on the offensive side of the ball with the best teams - LSU is a different spread from what Bama is doing and UGA is still in the stone ages.

Makes sense to me. And Robinson has been recruiting pretty well so I would like to keep him there. If Grantham goes, he probably takes CRob too (English if we are lucky). New guy could bring in a guy from ISU or SDSU (not the same but a similar concept) to modernize the defense. Jettison Knox and Billy G for dudes with experience in passing based spreads and we might have a superb coaching staff.

People must be terrified that the ISU/SDSU guys can not recruit. Or they think that the DC is the brain child and no one else can replicate what they do. Astounds me that there staff has not been pillaged.

It is clear there is zero demand for Joe Lee Dunn Jr. Either b/c others know his shortcomings or his agent sux. Regardless it is clear he is overpaid b/c his name can't come up for anything. His agent is so bad he can't even get his own client a mention for a Division 16 head coaching job. The only demand for Joe Lee Dunn Jr. and most of our other asst. coaches is the demand from quite a few fans that they be gone. Other than that we are stuck with plenty of overpaid towel boys.
