Now if Payne can score 12, and increase his rebounds =we will be a better team than before. Gotta shock LSU.
Johnson & Nembhart can score more than last game (when they were ill).
Notice that LSU averages 1 more TO/g than we do.
Will White keep them from backsliding? Will Payne stay highly effective?
Better not let LSU jump out front right from the tip. GO GATORS !

LSU lost a ton of individual talent from what I thought was the most talented team in the nation last year. Then of course they lost their coach for a bit which was probably a plus b/c Wade sux, but he is now back. LSU has less talent than they had last year, but they are playing as well as they have played all year and it is a road game, so that makes it a tough spot regardless of the team or Wade the coach. Pound the ball into the post to Blackshear, force them to double team and allow Payne to continue to freelance (without the ball of course) to pound the offensive glass and get all the garbage around the basket.

Payne has great touch around the basket, good leaps, and rebounding skills

FTs need much work.

We are in trouble early.

But now, at least we have a new "factor"-- a 6'10" Payne who decided to play more like he did in high school than like the way White was teaching. Crashing the boards is the way LSU got a better record than our Gators. LSU players are pretty young also. Maybe our new combo can make them crack? What if Payne can maintain at 75% like the Auburn game? Did you notice the jubilation his teammates should at Payne's success? I don't think Payne will be a low-scorer any more. That should inspire other freshmen. Scottie Lewis might break out at scoring more easily next ? We do have many All-American stars that could revert to how good they were in high school. >>> Get that revert to playing good ?? Remember 2 years ago when we noticed how so many sharpshooters got worse with more experience = I mean really worse.
Maybe these youngsters won't allow such contamination.

Florida is up 13-8 at the under 16 timeout. Blackshear has hit 2 3 pters and Payne has 5 pts

Worry that we will be "timid" underneath or refs will call fouls for the home team that will cost our starters floortime.
Huray for Payne. Way to go Blackshear.

It's funny but Payne's movement & expression going to the FT line looks like a kid reluctantly taking a stage position in his kindergarten play. Love him but he's too tall for me.

Gotta position faster to take charges from those LSU drivers.
