I went to Oxford and watched him beat Rex. Rex was off and the rest of the team played "Zooker" ball. The wife and I enjoyed the Blues music on Beale St in Memphis though.

My seats were in the north end zone for that game. We toured Vicksburg on the Friday before the game.

For the next several years, we now have to listen to people saying Overrated Eli deserves to be in the pro football HOF. The only worthwhile thing this guy has to his credit in his career is 2 hot playoff runs that ended with Super Bowl wins. Other than that, he was pretty average all around.

Exactly. Find one year where his season stats put him in the Top 10 QBs for that season. He was an extremely average QB that got hot at the right time.

10-6 in his first Super Bowl
9-7 in his 2nd Super Bowl
117-117 career regular season record

#7 all time passer with 2 Super Bowl wins and 2 Super Bowl MVPs. Agree or not, he’ll be in the HOF.
