Payne: Coach, I've been open on three give & go. Nobody is even looking for me?"
White: "Pay attention! I'm gonna draw up a play."
Lewis: "but-but."
White; "Lewis pay attention to your line. You're in this."
Locke: "But Coach, that play has seven Gators on the court."
White: "Well, you get the gist. Just play the best you can and don't go near the basket. Nothing good happens there."

Hell, I'd take Pat Kelsey, Mike Jones, even my boy and UF alum Tim Craft from the Big South Conference right now instead of Martha White. Give any of those three the talent UF has and we'd never worry about any bubble again.

I never hope for us to lose but I’m not going to be upset if more losses got them to finally can this guy.

So.....who is on your short list for coaching candidates? I'd really like Brad Underwood at Illinois. But idk if he would leave unless the money was right.

You can start the list with each of the coaches that has beaten us this year with less talent:

Ben Howland
Cuonzo Martin
Scott Drew
Danny Hurley

I am not pushing any of these guys just making the point that the list could be very long if all you want is better than what we have.

Start sending that stuff Stricklin’s way. I guarantee you it trends. At least let him know fans are pissed!

It might work, but do we have an AD who is anything more than Fooley 2.0? The 2nd email I ever sent to Fooley was the day Billy left and was going to the Magic. I emailed Fooley begging him to consider hiring Tony Bennett who was then a young head coach at Washington State. I knew once Bennett got to a larger basketball school or to a school in a real basketball conference he would then become too well known. Well Billy came back, but all Fooley could do was fly to meet with Grant b/c all Fooley could do was go with someone he knew or had heard of. Well I feel that way about Fooley 2.0 Zero confidence in them knowing anything. Hell someone threw out the name of the coach at Jerry Falwell U. Guy has a record at least that might be worth a look, but don;t just go with someone who has picked their nose at the ODome. That trait does not make one qualified.

I've met Ritchie McKay before, an absolute class act, but would not be a fit at UF, or as the top man at any power five school.

The list would be so long that the question I have is: Who would run out of ink first??

1. The Federal Reserve b/c they are printing so much money trying to keep the economy/market alive or
2. You, b/c your list of candidates better than Mike was so long, the ink ran dry. I think option 2 would run out of ink first.

Did Foley actually respond? Genuinely curious.

I do not think it will work... short term. But build enough noise in the system, it might lead to eventual change. Twitter is more powerful than email for the average fan - gets a lot of looks versus only one. Email would work great for a bull gator but I am guessing they could easily make a phone call too.

Well, **** White. I’m sick to my stomach. No way any decent coach loses this one after the first half, at home, with this roster.

He’s Ron Zook. Recruits well, coaches like ****. Plays a prevent style with a lead that lets the other team back in it every time. It’s become so predictable that watching a Mike White team with a lead is like watching the clock tick away on a time bomb. And about as much fun. Opposing coach at the half to his team, “No worries fellas. We’re down 10 and got em right where want em. That’s a Mike White team we playing,’ team responds - bwahaha!!!!

After weak Vandy pushes it in deep on us Saturday night in Nashville, maybe the seat will start warming.

 just saw a tweet that Mike White is the #4 trending person on Twitter Sports. The hash tag that’s trending you ask? #firemikewhite. The top three are Kobe/Shaq/Jerry West - as expected.

No Fooley did not respond to that email. He also did not rspond to the first email I sent him telling him he was a complete KNOW NOTHING jacka$$ for panicking and hiring Zook the day he was hired. The only time he responded to me was after the 3rd email I sent him imploring him to axe Muscrat long before he did and he only responded b/c I told him he was horrendous at knowing what a quality football coaching candidate was and that he could not take credit for Urb's b/c all he was was "errand boy" for the muckity mucks and Machen who told his incompetent a$$ to go get Urb's signed on the dotted line and do not come back until the ink is dry. He did not like me calling him "Errand Boy" and assured me that the hiring of Urb's was 100% his doing. I have still not stopped laughing at that response.

 Serious questions: are you really in a position to warrant a response? Are you a booster - and a high enough donating one to have comms with him? If not, it makes his response even funnier. Smacks of the ego he was so famous for.

This seems like a totally normal and not psychotic pattern of behavior.

I never had running commumications with him. I only emailed as a fan, but I was a donor for a long time until the day Zook was hired. I ceased that day b/c that hire was a joke. But I was never a large enough donor to have running communications with anyone nor did I ask to be. My emails were on the level that you just mentioned tonite. The email address was there for anyone in the public to get and that is what I did.

But the topic of importance now is getting Mike's sorry a$$ out immediately if not sooner. Too much talent on the team to be sporting a pedestrian 12-8 record.
