in more recent times they use the LS1 out of the Vette like you said. .
800 hp in a Miata sounds like a recipe for death. I can't imagine the tranny and brakes are up to the job either.

That looks superficially somewhat interesting.

With an old car everything is about the test drive though, as you know very well.

I wonder how well the paint and those headlights buff out.
I had a 2000 Corvette that was yellow and I loved it. There’s no doubt this yellow/manual tranny combination is rare. I’ll bet that yellow would buff out incredibly.

you should check this out. plus it just makes me feel better to know you're not driving around in another red and black car. Surely your wife will prefer it also. I've heard that Barn types don't like red and black either.

Perhaps a go fund me, keep.Ox out of red and black?

Yeah, if you’re a chick. I’ve yet to see one male driving one of those cars. The center console is confirmed to be one big, on-the-fly makeup organizer.

78, you’re talking to a guy who loves Miatas. You really think I care at this point about the “chick car” nonsense?

Also, I saw recently where the majority of Audi R8 owners are female. Any comment on that?

Yea, we are kind of torn. We really need to upgrade to an SUV. Are hesitant to go to Hyundai again because of known issues and not sure if they are entirely fixed on the newer models. But yes, the warranty is great, thankfully.

We've got a few vehicles in mind, but not ready to take the plunge.

They aren't sexy but Honda CRVs are solid, well equipped and extremely reliable long lasting cars.

It's on the list.
They have actually come a long way.
Not sure it is the right size though. Can't really go look at them because we are in the final stretches of my wife's pregnancy. Might have to be more seriously looked into later in the year.

Not exactly a fun backwoods driver. 40 horsepower in a tinny buck of bolts.

Meant to sit in someone’s garage or showroom. The history of the car is interesting.

That one is probably 50 hp!!!! And with just a few mods you could get easily up to 60 or maybe 70 hp!!!!! :)

You don't want to go too crazy though with those drum brakes.
