Gibbs is supposed to give us a decision tonight. A final decision hasn't been made on Clayton if Gibbs stays at Tech, as suspected, but they do think Clayton will come if they give him the green light.
Not that we didn't already suspect this, but Beckwith is gone now that Scott bailed.

Maybe it’s the pumper in me, or being disappointed just doesn’t resonate with me, but for some reason I have a good feeling on Gibbs. Been on his stat line for a long time and would be absolutely ecstatic if he flipped to us.

He can still enroll and play. It’s just the concept of LOI no longer applies to his recruitment.

Absolutely no reason to think he flips. Seems like a kid who’s got priorities and his head on straight. Wish he grew up close to us.

They were waiting to get Gibbs' decision and haven't decided if he's a take or not. They pretty much have to decide by tomorrow so I'll let you know if I hear anything. They think he'll say yes if they green light him.

@ltraz - play devils advocate. Why is Mullen’s staff so hesitant on Clayton? Think there is more to the injury than we know? Maybe needs follow on surgery to correct issues once track is done? Is there something in his game that does not match Mullen’s system?
