Low paid grunt vs high level, well respected guru enjoying semi-retirement.

I wasn’t asking the difference between W2 and 1099. I know that. I was seeking to differentiate analyst from consultant.

Now CG has muddled the picture by suggesting Spurrier’s role as ambassador included acting as consultant to the football team. I don’t know that we can assume that.

BTW, from a definition standpoint, a 1099 employee is not held to a regular sked. A W2 employee is. From a tax standpoint, no payroll taxes deducted from 1099-Misc pay. They get dinged for self-employment tax. Opposite for W2.

There have been a few reports over the years of SOS observing practice, or coaches visiting his office. It's possible I jumped to conclusions, but maybe he has filled a consultant role in an unofficial capacity?

When you’re running an art studio out of an office complex and you have Picasso down the hallway, you’re brain dead if you don’t knock on his door.

I would've gone with Michaelangelo or Rembrandt, but I get your point.

Hard to know what any of it really means. These latest moves by Mullen strike me as more of a move to endear himself to the fan base.

And that's a good thing. Especially when it gravitates towards identifying a tradition or Gator history.

Has anyone confirmed if either or both KB and CS are coming as analysts? Or perhaps replacing Knox or the TE coach?

Don't have the time to go thread diving.

A woman asked Spurrier if he had anything to do with McElwain's offense at Florida.
Spurrier's perturbed answer; 'Did it look like I had anything to do with it?'
:lmao2:

Yeah.... cause SOS would run a screen pass every first down, a draw play on second, and a play action fake on third, LIKE FVKKING CLOCKWORK.
