Good class is overstated. Average class (for UF). Less than Chimp, better than Shark.
A little bit good? (4 top 100 players vs 6 for Chimp and 12 for Meyer.). Good enough for second to third place?
A good bit better than nothing?
We’ll never know if his eval was off. Some people think Henry could be a HOF LB. I don’t recall Chump saying he couldn’t be a good RB, just that he really liked him as a LBIf you're only going by ratings. However let's also remember a few things about chimps class. They were always unbalanced and most of his evals were off.
I can list a number of busts by Champ including missing evals on guys like Derrick Henry who Chimp thought projected as a LB.
They didn't beat us by much. We had four guys 5.9 or better, they only had five. Like us, their class is a heap of 5.8 low 4*/ borderline 3* players.Understand this has to be why they immediately got Brewster, but letting the Vols beat you in recruiting, in a season where they lost to Georgia State, at home, is embarrassing. Incredible amount of denial to say that a top 10 means a lot here when UT edges you after last season. Incredible.
Similar to a kid that chooses the Eagles over the other 30 teams in the league (Redskins don't count, fck the Redskins).
Agree - It shouldn't have even been close between our two programs, that's what I am saying. They didn't beat us by much. We had four guys 5.9 or better, they only had five. Like us, their class is a heap of 5.8 low 4*/ borderline 3* players.
None of the elite teams in the SEC are afraid of either class.
do you think we should have recruited the state of Tennessee harder? They got 2 guys from Florida, and we didnt seem to push hard for either one.Understand this has to be why they immediately got Brewster, but letting the Vols beat you in recruiting, in a season where they lost to Georgia State, at home, is embarrassing. Now do the 2008 - 2010 classesMuschamp star chased. Let me list you a number of "highly rated" recruits that either never played a down here, removed from team or transferred, or never amounted to much.

So basically out of all of Muschamps players, sorting the NFL from the busts/transfers, Muschamp had a total of 12 of our highest ranked players either leave the program or be a bust. I'd say his evals sucked.
Exactly. We’ve discussed it. The lack of facilities doesn’t help matters. But neither does having recruiters who are about as effective as a semi retarded camel. Just a bad combo right now. But what can be immediately fixed should be.
Now do the 2008 - 2010 classes
Exactly.
We have a poor recruiting HC with poor recruiting assistants (at least 5) with a tiny 3 man recruiting staff and shytty facilities.
Honestly, we are lucky to be where we are.
We can fix a few of those things quickly.
Someone just posted the stats. About 50% of 5 stars fail, but 75% of 4 stars do, and 95% of 3 stars do. Stars matter. You can't always get lucky rolling the dice.Oh trust me, Meyers class is full of them as well. Im just saying Chimps class were a disorganized and poorly evaluated mess.

Wake me up when Mullinz resume includes something other than "sometimes doesn't lose to Kintucky".
No, Im not at all impressed by managing to beat the trash in the SEC east and getting lucky enough to have wiLLLLLLie at Clown Town. Why don't you just go root for your boys in Tallacrappy? At this point youre just a Nole Donkey troll. You continue to hang your hat on one loss to Kentucky and refuse to acknowledge back to back NY6 appearances.
