No, Im not at all impressed by managing to beat the trash in the SEC east and getting lucky enough to have wiLLLLLLie at Clown Town.

It isn't the slightest bit impressive, just as it wasn't impressive when Sharkfvkker did it twice.

You really can't say this with a straight face. You're honestly the dumbest mother****er I've ever met. Go be a t-shirt fan for Clemson or something. At this point, that's the type of fan you are.

They didn't beat us by much. We had four guys 5.9 or better, they only had five. Like us, their class is a heap of 5.8 low 4*/ borderline 3* players.

None of the elite teams in the SEC are afraid of either class.
I saw a stat about UGA’s vaunted 2018 class vs ours. With the transfers in and out for both schools, they have 7 to our 6 of the top 100 that year. And 3 of ours are 5 stars.

are you comparing 2018 vs 2018 or 2018 vs 2020... if it's the later, it's hard to compare against years, it's almost an apples to oranges comparison.

It isn't even slightly impressive. Losing 7 of the last 8 quarters to UK isn't something to acknowledge.

CLEAR?

The same Kentucky team that went and beat a good Penn St team in the Bowl Game? Don't forget, we did play the Kentucky team last year that wasn't playing a receiver at QB. Mark Stoops has done a tremendous job at Kentucky. This isn't Spurrier's kentucky teams we're playing

do you think we should have recruited the state of Tennessee harder? They got 2 guys from Florida, and we didnt seem to push hard for either one.

I think that it shows that Tennessee worked a lot of relationships and took care of their own backyard, despite an embarrassing season, and was able to acquire more talent than Florida, who missed a big opportunity to get more out of the State of Florida and HTH recruiting battles with non Top 10 teams while having a largely positive season (bowl win, HBO, top 10 season) and while their main competition in the state were enduring brutal seasons and yet still managed to stay even with the top players in the state. And if someone were to focus on a top 10 recruiting class finish as a benchmark, then my opinion is you are overrating that in the light of these other variables.

It's like getting excited about someone driving in 100 runs in a season, a long held statistical benchmark, when a better player would have driven 125 in the same situation.

The NFL draft proves that recruiting rankings matter.

Looking at both 2018 classes. That was the class that was supposedly going to set us back because UGA was getting all the talent and we got nothing. Fast forward and they’ve lost 3 of those 5 stars while we gained 3. Long story short... transfer portal has changed the game and you can’t just look at each recruiting class in a vacuum. They’re definitely more talented than we are but the gap is closing - just not in the way Donk likes.

We brought in zero, and gained 3 that didn't pan out elsewhere... honestly if they are entering the transfer portal there is a reason.

Whatever, you’re an idiot. I’m sure Justin Fields is a flop to you. Have not seen Cox yet but hard to call that a flop.

On second thought, you’re probably still drunk from thirsty Thursday so maybe it can be excused.

Look when youre taking transfers, better to take the 3 star that has flourished (Greenard) than the 5 star that has flopped.

Great point. Cox was a monster in his bowl game and their fans were excited about him... then fell out with the coaches. Don't know why but their fans quickly went full Gator recruiting with WDWHA. Shorter’s story was similar. Lingard is a question mark. But this notion that guys in the transfer portal are somehow diminished is idiotic. Check 3 out of 4 playoff contenders and get back to me with how that transfer portal is working out.

yeah, a hand full guys pan out that are transfers, but what about the others. What you are using as your evidence is the exceptions not the rules. So what you are now suggesting that all transfer guys are like those? I know you are just looking for a fight, and I'm sure you will use a limited data set to prove your point, when if you take into account all transfers which is what the intellectually honest data set would be it would be a more accurate depiction.

The three that couldn't get playing time elsewhere.

Jeez, take the lollipop out of your mouth. It's embarrassing. You keep making gagging noises when he touches your tonsils.
Cox was the rising star coming out of his bowl game. No telling what happened in the offseason but he was dead set on getting out of their. Maybe their coaches f’ed him over like Fields. Fields couldn’t get playing time either and he seems to be doing ok.

Shorter is an interesting case. Received rave reviews at the end of his freshman season but sophomore year was not good. Could just as easily be a conflict with the coaches - Franklin sure didnt mince words about his weight and acted like a baby when he transferred - didnt seem like he wanted to lose him.

Lingard... could just be that we had to take a risk on someone because Knox is trash. Is what it is.

Which transfers has florida taken that did not pan out? Hit rate has been exceptionally high. In fact, I’d be curious to see what 5* transfers do at the new school. Hard to think of any that didnt become a significant contributor.
