Those Ugly fans are now spelling Mullins name with three "Ls"--much like we did with WiLLLLLLLie.
I would love to call them "losers" and shoot them down, but they have a point.
We need to beat them and beat them good but I'm not so confident now after last year.
I appreciate what Mullen has done, but his success is feeding off off the failures of previous coaches that just flat out sucked.
I felt like he had a team to beat them last year--and then there were all the "excuses."
He'd better beat those azzsniffers next year or he should be fired too.
Stop wasting time with losers that can't win or can't recruit. Figure it out.
We've won Championships with great coaches that were intense, innovative, and knew how to recruit.
Give PJ Fleck a blank check--he's probably the best coach out there.
I can tell you this, if we lose to Ugly next year them Mullen should lose his job.

This post is an example of what is wrong with our fanbase. Mullen takes over a 4 win team, goes 10-3, then 11-2. IF he loses to UGA and maybe one other, wins the bowl, is 11-2 again, you FIRE him!?!?!?! Who TF is going to come coach a team that in 3 years went 10-3, 11-2, 11-2 in the toughest conference and that’s not good enough?

Disappointed? Sure we want rings. Maybe another recruiter adjustment or two? Fine. FIRE Mullen?!?!?! Freakin moronic

Why don't you just go root for your boys in Tallacrappy? At this point youre just a Nole Donkey troll. You continue to hang your hat on one loss to Kentucky and refuse to acknowledge back to back NY6 appearances. Compared to where we were, you of all people should be happy. Can it get better? Yes. Will it get better? Hopefully depending on continued uptick in recruiting and getting better staff for that role. You're one of the most insufferable posters on this board. You went from actually rooting for our team and having proper dialogue to literally rooting for us to lose so that you can say you're right.

this board is already 50 percent better just since I blocked him

Yep. Same thing with the idiots who said Mac should have been fired after his second year, which would have been firing the first coach in sec history to win division titles in his first two years. Idiotic is the nice way to put it. You just CANT do it even if it was obvious a guy like Mac was a fraud

"Moronic" is accepting 2nd place in the SEC East.

The truly mind-boggling part is that he's not the only absolutist knuckle-head on this board who spews that kind of stupid crap - ON A REGULAR BASIS.

The only thing goofier than your original comment is the lame-brained excuse you made to support it. Read the grown-up's response to your asinine postulation, and then try again to comprehend what he's saying. No one wants to "settle" for 2nd in the east, it's just that some are smart enough to give success a chance to come to fruition.

I’m a huge Mullen fan...always have been...even followed his career at Cowbell...the only thing that concerns me is his unwillingness to believe he’s not recruiting to Starkville at times...if he can get four more brewsters on staff I think we can take the next step...but he’s got a Jimmy and Joe issue...I think he’s got the intelligence to gameplan against anyone...but even I can lay out a kitchen perfectly...give me tools from harbor freight and subpar supplies and it’s gonna be hard to make it worthy of better homes and gardens...that’s all I’m saying

How much more talent does Mullen have to work with here at UF than at Cowbell? Does That bump in talent plus his 'intelligence to gameplan' equal enough to win it all? Can he break through landing only the talent that we get now? Isn't it significantly more better talent than at Cowbell? ....

Yes. and Yes.

From a 4-wins team to a 10-wins, to a 11-wins team is a pedestrian pace? Explain how Saban or Meyer has shown better win-paces?

I like Dan’s progress, but unless he wins a NC by 2021, he’s behind those two guys. And they both were recruiting much better than him this early after being hired.

Meyer:
Bowling Green. Goes 8-3 and 9-3 after taking over a 2 win team.
Utah. Goes 10-2 and 12-0 after taking over 5 win team.
Florida. Takes over a 7 win team and wins 2 national championships in his first 4 years.
Ohio State. Goes 12-0 after taking over a 6 win team, and wins a national championship 2 years later.

Saban:
LSU. Took over a 3 win team to 8 wins year 1 and won a national championship in year 4.
Alabama. Took over a 6 win team. Only won 7 games year 1, but went 12-2 year 2 and 14-0 with NC year 3. And then went on a run for the ages.

But will he get over thinking he’s at Cowbell? That’s the issue...he’s got the energy and want to...but the issue is a winners mindset when it matters and I won’t think he does until we can win in Jax

I think he understands the responsibility and the pressure; the question is can he make the transition?
He's not at Cowbell anymore, and he's not going to survive UF just being an OC that is in charge of a team.
He is now a CEO of a major program, and he must manage his staff that way
The expectations are through the roof.
He can no longer just rely on being a "playcaller;" He must call some different plays, like firing staff members that don't produce, and adding one's that can contribute.
He is the CEO of UF football, and he has a very short window to produce results.
It's a tough job, and that's why it pays so much.
