Certainly looks like a 17-14 type finish and needing 2 wins in the SEC tourney to safely get into the NCAA Tourney. Seems like the players, coaches, and fans just want to get the season over with and move onto the next coach. You can just tell that White KNOWS he won't make it to next season and its time to move on. You can tell by the look on Strick's face that he also knows its time to move on. Coach White - HE GONE.

It's all going to click starting with TAM and then when Billy comes the team will suddenly "get it" and go on a streak with only an OT loss on the road at Kentucky. Making them a feared match-up in the tourney as an 8-10 seed.

Here’s a bet for you. I’ll bet that White is the coach next year, regardless of how this season goes. You say “HE GONE”. We should know the outcome by June 1. Want to do a 6 month ban bet (June 1-Nov 1) to back up your assertion that HE GONE?

@A&M - Win
Vandy - Win
Arkansas - Win
@UK - Loss (lol)
LSU - Loss
@Tenn - Loss
@Georgia - Loss
UK - Win

I predict we end our regular season 18-13 and will sneak into the tournament as a 10-12 seed.

Will this be enough to keep White around?

Ban bets are stupid. But White isn't going anywhere until AT LEAST the end of 20/21 season. if these guys would just go play playground ball with no coach, the outcomes would be better.

What's frustrating about this is that White's offense previous to Florida was a balls-out, fast paced, street ball. Not sure what happened now that he has better talent. He coaches scared to lose, tight.

Best Case:
@A&M- Win
Vandy- Win
Arkansas- Win
@UK- Loss
LSU- Win
@Tenn- Loss
@UGA- Win
UK- Loss

Most likley Case the way we have played:
@A&M- Loss
Vandy- Win
Arkansas- Loss
@UK- Loss
LSU- Loss
@Tenn- Loss
@UGA- Win
UK- Loss

I started to worry about Mike White when half the team left after last year. What kind of player development is that? What's so wrong that more than half the team elects to leave? I thought maybe we had a pot-problem or attitude problem. Now, I wonder if the players just don't respect or believe in MW's game.

Then he lands that master class of talent and the pumper in me says, "wait and see." I mean as a coach you own year 5. That's your roster, your players. Clearly, Mike White has no game. #MikeWhitesJustOkay

Remember, the last two seasons, Whitey has complained about the attitude of the players. Sometimes they play hard and sometimes they don’t. He blamed the attitudes of certain guys and finally cleaned house. They didn’t leave. They were processed out. Well, for the third season in a row, sometimes they play hard and sometimes they don’t. Three different teams with different players. Yet, the same issue persists. Who is the common denominator? The dumbazz head coach who blames everyone but himself.

Normally I’d agree about ban bets, but it was JBossGator8, so I thought of it more as doing a public service to spare others from his manic-depressive postings.

NIT bound.

Your opinion got me to thinking. There is still plenty of season for many teams to get into the tourney, but say the NIT it is. Recent years have had teams decline invites to the NIT. For some reason i could see this team declining a NIT bid if it comes to that.

Good question. I hadn’t thought about them turning it down, but it seems like a distinct possibility now that you mention precedent. This team is too dysfunctional to see any benefit investing in a longer season. I think Mike White has lost the team.

Let's assume we make the NIT and either decline or bow out in the early rounds. How many defectors in the off season?

1.) Nembhard for sure.
2.) Blackshear has to leave.
3.) Scotty Lewis is better served getting paid while learning offense at the next level.
4.) KJ likely to leave.
5.) Payne may choose to go else where.
Fall out is going to be catastrophic.
