MLB 2020 spring training schedule, dates: When do pitchers and catchers report for all 30 teams?

Excited? DGAF? Planning on catching some Spring Training games? Hate baseball? Anything is better than debates and primaries? If it isn't Gators, it isn't for me? Wake me up after the All Star Break?

Your thoughts?

(and please, no Mayor Pete and his Husband comments, we don't want this thread banished to the PF)

Alex.

The family are season ticket holders to the local A team, just means after a month of dealing with Philly fan we will be going to the ball park on a regular basis.

I’m excited for the season. Outside of everything gators I’m a big rays fan. I grew up in central Florida and have been following since the beginning. I live in fort myers and go to 5 or so games a year. Should be an exciting season until I find out they’re moving to Montreal

My son attends FGCU in Ft Myers where the Red Sox train, which also happens to be our favorite MLB team. Son bartends at a locals-type restaurant and two nights ago he served Brian Johnson. I was telling my younger son the story and he says, "Isn't he the guy that Zuniga hit in the head with a throw?"

After the Astros/Red Sox sign stealing scandal and then the Red Sox trading away the face of the franchise to "save money" I kind of DGAF.

Used to really love major league baseball when I was a kid and teenager. Spring Training was the greatest time. Baseball and Spring Training was a time for renewal of the soul. Used to get the Fort Myers News Press and follow the Spring Training Grapefruit League standings and even the Cactus League Standings from Arizona. Didn't really know the games and standings were meaningless. It was baseball. Do they still call it the Grapefruit League? Went to a Spring Training game at Terry Park in Fort Myers when the Pirates were headquartered there. Got to see Roberto Clemente in right field up close.

Don't know a thing about major league baseball now. Follow the rankings of the college teams. Will attend an occasional college game just to soak up the sun, sit in the stands, eat some peanuts, drink a coke, forget about the world, feel younger again. Life is good.

Just bought a large plastic trash can and now ready for the season to begin.

Actually I have been a faithful fan of the Giants since the early 60's. Willie Mays would be my choice for GOAT. The Giants and Gators are my two primary sports passions so yes, I am glad to see Spring Training arrive.

Grew up watching the Tigers in Lakeland but never rooted for them. They did quite a big money renovation of Joker Marchant Stadium a couple of years ago. It is a nice place to see a ST game. Hoping to get out west soon to see some Cactus League games. Never have been there before....or seen the Grand Canyon.

I love the game of baseball. Not MLB so much, but I do follow it (especially the AL). I love Gator baseball, I loved playing baseball as a kid, I love coaching my son's little league team every year and watching him develop in the game. It's a great game, so it's a bit of a shame to see some of the negative things that have gone in MLB over the last several years. But I still love going to the ball park, no matter who is playing, and enjoying a sunny day, a hot dog, and the great American past time.

Haven't really cared for baseball since high school and Turner sold the Braves. Used to love being able to go to games for almost nothing during the summer. That being said I might catch a few Braves games this year, but will not tune in on a regular basis until the playoffs and even then it depends on the teams. This year after the Braves got eliminated I tuned in for the last inning of game 7.
