I'm not sure if it's possible to improve one's running speed, but I imagine it is quite possible to improve one's initial burst getting to max speed. Perhaps Trask will work on that in the off season and make himself a viable threat to take off and run more often when an opening presents itself.

For starters, we need to lose that bizarre RPO fake to no one on those option plays. Not only does it fool no one, it slows the progression of the play, which is the last thing we need to be doing with Trask(or the option in general).

Once he’s in the clear his speed isn’t exactly a strength, but also isn’t horrible. It’s his first 5-6 steps that seem like he’s in concrete shoes. If not for being tackled on that 4th down call against Lsu, I’m still not sure he’s reached the edge yet.

Actually that fake works far more often than not. It also gives the pulling guard an extra tick and allows the back to flank the DE or LB assigned to set the edge. It’s a pretty smart play design that probably has an 80 % success rate if my memory is correct

Savage may be our most Valuable Coach.
they always are. they're the only ones that have significant contact with the kids for eight months out of the year.

this is probably THE most important coach on the staff.

I have said this before...I'd offer Tim Tebow big bucks to work with Savage and Coordinate Off Season Coaching.

I may be dreaming or drunk but I think it would pay dividends...And recruiting...What Mom can say no to Timmy?

Problem is...UGA ain't Bamma. First guy that pops positive for PEDs on a random PP test will get them hammered by the NCAA.
