This guy is high if he thinks TAM or Texas have a legit chance to win the NC. It’s not happening. Jimbo probably loses 4 games this coming season.

9. TENNESSEE WON'T IMPROVE ITS RECORD FROM 2019

I am going against the grain here quite a bit. Every media pundit seems to love Tennessee. And they might be right. But the 2020 schedule might be a bit less kind. The Volunteers head to Oklahoma in September, and one of its home games is against Alabama. Eight wins (including the bowl) in 2019 was impressive, but will be tough to top.

It sets up as a season with the ball placed squarely in Mullen’s court in terms of how he best utilizes the quarterback. He can grow as a playcaller or he can continue to try and run RPO down everybody’s throat.

I’m not going to hold my breath.
