The whole deal. Brings a tear to my eye. In classic Billy D fashion he didn't take the credit, but gave it to everyone else.

Only Noah would wear the jersey of a former teammate(Moss). That whole team was ridiculously special.

They loved Uncle Moss! Remember after they won the first national championship they all ran off the bench and piled on Adrian? After his last game in the O Dome, Adrian came into the student section and thanked everyone and signed autographs.

He’s an apex leader; selfless, driven, caring for the people in his system and drawing the very best out of them. No one ever out-worked or out-cared that guy. He is among the greatest people ever associated with UF. Tebow, Wuerffel level greatness.

His comments on Jeremy Foley carry a great deal more weight than some contrary opinions vehemently expressed on this board.

Foley found him. It needs to be acknowledged and celebrated as maybe the best “get” in UF history.

There will be replicating Billy Donovan. That’s obvious. It boils down to who can lead us forward in the Donovan spirit in being a true basketball school.

I thought it was cool after I figured out the name from my seat. Im guessing he loved Moss cause that was his break during the first title run.

Billy Donovan drew from the deep well of passion that he innately possesses, so he welled up.
Then our NC alumni showed that their time at UF was more special than anywhere else. Proved it by returning for another year and another NC. Billyball did what was needed to win.

Does our BBall program need CPR or the Heimlich maneuver? Well, here is a 911 suggestion = Rick Patino !
Surely Stricklin can get Patino monitored unto compliance ... besides, he's probably learned his lesson.
Patino is 68 y.o. but he's going strong coaching a professional team in the Greek BBall League and also
the Greek seniors National team.Patino mentored Donovan.

As far as Patino's ethics violation, illegal though it was it resulted from a fierce desire to have a winning team.
Besides giving Patino a 2nd chance seems okay? How strongly does Patino wish to be in the college BBall?
We don't need a burdensome buyout guy. That would just be part of the bargaining process. ??

I'd settle for Dirk Nowitzki a 7-footer. Retired NBA battler.
