OK boys and girls, lets see who has a true workhorse in the driveway or a Dinosaur from the past, mileage is what I'm looking for.
My daily Service Runner is a 2000 Chevy Astro Van with 292000 miles on it. I think I have replaced every moving part on this old girl, some multiple times. Of course it's mono white with homemade ladder rack, V6 power with 30psi oil pressure when warm. AC blows cold but have to turn on fan with toggle switch under hood. Have to carry 3 different keys to start and\or lock the doors. I carry 3 gallons of water everywhere I go(you know it has leaks). The radio works until I hit a pot hole then it takes a minute to turn back on, until the next hard bump. It gets about 20mpg on the highway but the moment I hang a trailer, any trailer, behind it, the mileage drops to about 12mpg. Electric windows work but electric locks died 10 years ago. I may post pictures but again, probably not because I know no one really cares about this old girl.
Several people have mentioned that driving this old truck reflects poorly on my business and that may be true but I've reached the point in life where IDGAD what others think about my old girl, she's paid for and get's me from A to B, usually..... Have a good day...
