Yeah I totally agree with Missouri, you guys worrying about decimal points in rankings need to get a life. I think we are gonna get Evan's unless he's a total dbag on his visit. Filling a rb hole is more important than decimal points
Spoken like someone who ended up with a 6

She was really a 5.6, but since he doesn't worry about the decimal point, he rounded up.
I was using a 10 pt scale. Ironically a 6 is equal to a 5.6, so a high 3*. If she’s an OL she could turn out better, probably because she can cook

you have to fill the holes. and if if you can find a versatile one who fills two or three holes, in a pinch, even better. You definitely need some three holers in your depth chart.

Still using Rivals outdated formula's eh
I'm not the one bragging that he beat Kentucky and Mizzou once and landed a top-10 class therefore he must be building something good.

If she’s an OL, might have some sweaty folds that could work in a drunken pinch

Sooo... sans manuel and evans which are admittedly (no pun intended) extreme long shots at this point, is this class that much different than last years? Didn't we finish around 9 last year before the mass exodus? I suppose we can hope we dont have another exodus in 3 months time to keep us around 8 or 9 instead of what happened last year. But at the time of signing last year wasn't everyone a little bit annoyed with the performance and pointing to this year to see if he can figure it out?

Seems to me like its pretty much a repeat. Perhaps we got a few less questionable individuals but only time will tell on that front. If we do get evans I'd be surprised if it works out although im more than happy to have the opportunity to find out. Just seems like an infinite number of red flags.

I'll say that there have been upgrades although way slower than I'd like to see. Brewster should pay off big time next season, but the start of improvement in year 4 may be too late for Dan. I'm not one of the ones that thinks beating dwags this year is mandatory, and unless they look poor and we look better than expected I dont see it happening anyway. But 3 straight to them isnt a good look. As long as we do about how we've been doing Dan is safe although there will be small levels of grumbling by us diehards. BUT, if somehow cornrow is legit and fsu starts getting their :kiffin: together Dan could be in real trouble. The base can stomach the dwag loss, but a dwag loss followed a few weeks later with an fsu loss for a coach getting 6+ mil a year? That's not going to cut it.

It's crootin... always has been, always will be.

Evans and Manuel are 5* skill position talents. Doubling the amount of 5* talent we sign at the skill positions is a big deal. Remember that 4 of those 5* talents will not be counted in the rankings, and they should be counted when we evaluate our talent level relative to other teams. You'd be hard pressed to find a team that signed more talent at the skill positions if we get all of Henderson, Shorter, Manuel, Evans, and Lingard. But that is only if we get Evans and Manuel. When it is all said and done this quietly could be the best we've ever recruited at the skill positions from a pure talent standpoint.

Link?

he is a low 4 star (5.8) the same as Britt.

as for the failures we picked up from pedo and scum, you'd rather have a 3-star who exceeded his skill level that a five-star flop.

He dropped in the rankings because of off field issues. He was a 5* when he committed to us. If he gets admitted he was the same talent they evaluated him at prior to the off field issues. I don't know if this is everyone's opinion, but I believe Manuel is the best WR in the state of Florida.

That might be true. I just remember early on when these guys were Juniors and Sophomores he was mentioned in the same sentence with Bowman. People were saying, "We need to get Bowman and Manuel." He was the other skill position player in the state that was a must get for Florida.

Is that a fair comparison? Shorter and linguard spent 2 years at their school and at least showed flashes. AC was here 4, right?, and did nothing and was not injured, etc.
