This will be the first PPV I’ll order in about the last 20 years.

My two boys are going to watch it with me tonight. My oldest is 15.

30 years ago this month I remember sitting in the living room with my dad watching Tyson get knocked out by Douglas.

I hope it lives up to the hype.

Wilder may be one of the hardest punchers ever.

Wilder weighs in at 235

Fury at 275

the 1st time they met was a draw:

Yup, can't wait to watch it... wish I was watching it with my boys, we've watched most of the big MMA PPVs together in the last 4 years. This is the first boxing one I paid for in I don't know how long.

First for me since Tyson vs Seldon. What a disappointment.

Biggest fight since Lennox.

Heavyweights leading the boxing world again.

Party time.

6pm Gator basketball.

8pm Heat game (DWade retirement celebration).

9pm Fight night

Fight $80.....well worth it. There was a time my brother and I would fly out to Vegas for big fights. Nothing like the electricity in the casino on fight night.

Fury was robbed in the first meeting. He's possibly the best pure heavyweight boxer of all time. If you've never seen him fight, you're in for a treat. But... Wilder has a punch that can kill a man. He's not technical at all, but he's insanely powerful. I still don't know how Fury got up off the canvas after getting blasted by Wilder in the 12th. I thought he was dead. He dropped like someone shot him. The most amazing thing was Fury proceeded to beat the ever-living shi+ out of Wilder after that knock down. Craziest thing I've ever seen in a fight. Both of these guys are absolute freaks of nature.

I thought it was clearly 8:4 Fury in that fight. But, in boxing, rarely does the champ lose a decision. I expect a similar outcome tonight.

Biggest heavyweight fight in years. Fury dominated the first fight in all but 2 rounds. If Fury can avoid Wilders right hand he'll dominate again, maybe the judges won't take it from him again.

I was in Navy Hospital Corpsman A School in San Diego when Tyson lost. I remember none of us could believe it. He was completely invincible. I still think he threw the fight (he was 25:1 favorite - if he put $1 million on the fight he was set - and $25 million back then was probably around $100 million these days).

I mostly agree. Fury is so underrated as a boxer. He is a real tactician. I also thought Fury won but I had it closer 7-5.

The only disagreement I have was with what happened after the last knockdown. After Fury got up he didn’t land a single meaningful punch until 1:17 left in the round. He hit Wilder with a combination that I think rocked him but didn’t actually land another impactful punch until 0:24.
But like the rest of the world I still have no idea how Fury ever got up. That was truly amazing.
I think we will have another great fight tonight.

Last time I did a pfv event was the first Ali Frazier fight. I drove from G-ville to Jax to see it. Many of you weren't even alive then. Worth double what I paid. I'm surprised either of them lived through that fight.

I won't pay for this one. There's always replay. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Thrilla in Manila. Probably the best fight ever.

An unbelievable fight. The pace and tempo never relented. As hot as it was they say it was 120 under the lights. When Joe’s corner waived the towel at the start of the 15th Ali collapsed to the ground. If it was left to the fighters they would have somehow fought the 15th.

I have no idea what’s going to happen. Fury should box his way to victory but damn Wilder could end your life....much less the fight....with a single shot.

The odds actually went much higher than that. They got up to 42-1. My understanding is that nobody took Douglas at those odds but somebody took Tyson at 1-42. I think the highest odds somebody took Douglas at was 38-1 for $1,500. ESPN did a very good 30 for 30 about the fight called 42 to 1. It’s worth the watch.
