The Graham thing is posted in the non-SEC Coaching thread, but this confirms Kerwin was hired. I'm happy with this. If I could only choose one, I'd have taken Kerwin over Strong:

Source: Gators Add Former NFL Kicker to Coaching Staff

"Graham joins Tim Brewster and former Florida quarterback Kerwin Bell as incoming additions to Florida's coaching staff, entering its third season under head coach Dan Mullen. While active in adding members to the staff, Florida has only lost one key staffer in tight ends coach Larry Scott to Howard University, where he was named head coach earlier this month."

Adding 2 members of the staff, one who is a kicker.

Sad really.

We are so far behind and the AD keeps tossing quarters here and there.

Our special teams can use all the help they can get. Maybe we'll finally see a punt return for more than 10 yards this year.

Yeah we could have hired the person who invented special teams and the donk would still bytch.
I'm not biitching about hiring this guy. I don't know who this guy is. I agree we could use all the help on special teams we could probably hire 4- 5 like Alabama does.

I'm biitching because we didn't hire 20 quality assistants this year.

and even that wouldn't put us at half what Alabama, Clemson and all the other elite teams have.

and because we didn't fire Knox and English.

SAVING $$$$ THOUGH.

at this point it's clear we got rid of Fooley for the second cheapest bastard in the SEC.

Bingo. Been meaning to put a new thread together about some more info on this from a Cowbell booster acquaintance, but work has been in the way and I need to sort it out. For now, it is safe to say Mullen probably knows he’s not in Starkville anymore, but Stricklin clearly does not.

Also, wondering if Bell will mesh with Johnson on tutoring Trask.?
Ding ding ding.

I TOTALLY forgot about this.

I wondered where all these new passing concepts came from. They sure as hell havent been in Mullin or Johnsons book at any previous stops. I was actually thinking a few days ago are they spending a lot of time with Spurrier?

How did I forget about this?

Whomever they listened to, kudos to Mullinz and Johnson.

So Kerwin is the reason our passing game is working? Ah ha. I, too, forgot he was on staff.

Kudos indeed. Hiring to strengthen a weak area & adapt to circumstances is wise leadership.

Where is Charlie Strong? Is Gary Darnell alive? Bob Stoops have a few days for a visit? Marquand Manuel? Mike Peterson?

Stoops coming back as DC? I think it's a very realistic possibility.
