$100 say he regresses next year just as every decent player under White has.

As much as I’d like to see Mike White gone, I hope you are wrong about Scottie and he has a monster breakout season. But I’m not betting against you. Backing White is a poor investment - wish our millionaire AD could figure that out.

Big time pick up no doubt. Will KJ and Nemb follow suit and come back too? Hopefully they will. The real question is if Blackshear will be granted another year since his senior season was cut short? There was talk that seniors would be given another year. I don't know how that would work or if they had approved that or not yet.

Not happening JBoss in regards to players in their last year of eligibility. Every team completed an entire regular season and all the smaller conferences completed their tourneys. Only the Biggest conferences did not start or complete their tourneys. So the average team only missed playing 2-4 games regardless of NCAA/NIT or nothing at all. The best teams missed a max of 8-10 games. Not happening.

As expected. It would have been foolish to accept 2nd round money. He was brought along very well this season. He was nowhere near ready offensively at the beginning of the season but really started to show his potential towards the end. Very wise decision.

Im more concerned with KJ and Nembhard. They’re older and may want test the waters. Neither will go 1st round and could fall out of the 2nd. They should stay.

How will he overcome his coaching though?
Well White will have had a lot of time to figure out how to score consistently, let's hope he doestn focus only on defense lol

Pretty for sure they already ruled no extra eligibility for winter/fall sports

I believe the NCAA approved this for the spring sports (baseball and softball etc.) but not winter since they only lost their postseason

I hope they don’t extend this to the winter sports because it will create roster chaos

IF White were any good he'd already have our guys passing faster than defenders can keep up with. We pass & wait instead. That's terrible !
He'd have them imbued with the sense of executing give & go, backdoor passing and using the backboard to dampen the shot to score.
White should increase his respect for tall guys & inside scoring.

I am excited that we've signed 6'7" Samson Ruzhentsive = he seems like the Chandler Parsons type.

UF is not for HC on the job training. In White, there's too much that needs changing ! Will White change at all?

So as hoped for KJ is returning as well. It makes perfect sense for both him and the program. He has improved each year and will be even better next year.

Nembhard should do the same. He’s improving but he’s not ready for the NBA. Stay, get the education and be a team leader.

All the freshmen will stay. They were exposed early and often that they were not ready for the SEC...much less the NBA. Very raw and unpolished. But all 5 made progress over the course of the season and will be contributing with much greater consistency.

We’re going to be much better than last year. If we don’t win 25+ games, White’s gotta go.
