The idea that you dorks would put those two in the same sentence is a huge part of the problem here. Nussmeir sucked ass over a couple years, Foley presided over the greatest 25 year championship run in the history of the program.

Meh, I’m enjoying the hell out of this at the moment. Eventually, I would like to find some common ground with someone, anyone, on something, anything, positive pertaining to the Gators.

I do my best “defend the honor of Florida” work versus Vols/Noles/Dawgs in other venues. Here, I’d like to not have to defend UF’s honor on every post.

But hey, I respect you, you’re one of the legends, and many others on here. Some, sadly, seem to have fallen into the Swamp Donkey’s lair of negativity, but hey, maybe I can counter that?

The question is, does that overwhelm his 25 years presiding over a UF athletics championship BOOM?

Steve Spurrier and I don’t believe it does. We agree that he’s the best AD in the history of the program and the next best guy isn’t even close.
