Occasionally, SNL turns out something I enjoy watching. Thanks to YouTube, I don't have to sit through their political rubble and can sometimes catch a gem.

This is from 3/1/20, so you may have seen this already - I tried looking elsewhere to see if it was posted, but my 10 seconds of searching came up empty, so here it is. Enjoy.

Thanks for posting that.

I remember when I was younger, SNL was a must watch. Of course back then they had real talent (Murphy, Aykroyd, Chase to name a few). Like you, I can’t stomach a full episode now.

John Mulaney does absolutely fantastic standup and was a writer for SNL for years. Dude is hilarious.

His Back to the Future bit is hilarious, and his previous hosting episode of SNL was so good, even a Cut For Time bit w/Jack White was top notch. Love his standup.

Their political comedy comes across angry right now - hard to watch - has been since the Obama/McCain elections. Mean spirited in a way that it wasn't before then. Pretty lazy comedy on that end. But the other writing is good, especially when there is a great host, like Adam Driver - holy cow. Great stuff there.

The Star Wars stuff was hilarious.
