I don’t want to selfishly hijack this thread and repeat all the reasons why Sully is so grossly overrated as a coach who has underperformed tremendously in the post season with one of the most, if not the most, stocked rosters in the country, finding new ways nearly every year to choke and basically morph into Mr. “0-2 It’s Time For BBQ”, typically getting knocked out by much lower seeded & less talented teams that have no business beating us because Sully forgets to coach fundamental baseball and manufacture runs while blindly focusing on trying to play long ball, singlehandedly costing us several more CWS titles...so I’m not going to go into details here. Let’s save that for the other thread that is focused on Sully’s tremendous shortcomings.
