Epic from 1987.

George Harrison: Voice & Guitar
Eric Clapton: Guitar (on a Les Paul and not a Strat!)
Jeff Lynne: Guitar(ELO)
Phil Collins: Drums
Ringo Starr: Drums
Ray Cooper: Percussion
Mark King: Bass
Elton John: Piano
Jool Holland: Piano

As one of the comments below the video says correctly.."There’s more talent on that stage then the entire music industry today". Very, very true.

Played that song over and over when my first son was born. Still gets me when I hear it.
Me too. Not to mention Hawaii is a bucket list trip and when I make it there, Brother IZ has to be in the background the entire time.

30 years after he first recorded it Johnny Maestro could still belt it out. This was back when a lot of girls went to college to get an MRS degree. Once upon a time in a place called America they played music on the radio.

Great choice. I always get amazed at vocalists who never seem to regress or lose their voice a little--it seems natural most folks would yet a select few almost get better with age.

Along those same lines, here are two videos of The Tokens doing The Lion Sleeps Tonight. First one was from back in the mid/early 60's when it was original and these guys were young....really young..

This second one was recorded nearly 50 years later, and the dude's voice hasn't....lost...a...step!o_O Take note too at the 1:35 mark, the girl singer hits some notes that are beyond this earth. Stunning ability with her voice. Even the guys singing have a reaction like "wow".

Anything by The Fantastic Expedition of Dillard and Clark. The group was Doug Dillard of the Dillards (the Darlings in old Andy Griffin shows), Gene Clark of the Byrds and Bernie Leadon of the original Eagles.

I've been listening to these guys... I think they only released two albums, but man... that was some fantastic stuff. The Dillards could bring the heat...

One of the episodes of 'This Is Us' featured their version of Don't Let Me Down... good to see that today's TV writers have a little respect for this type of music.
I also heard one of Dolly Parton's lesser known hits on one of their episodes as well... this is one of her best (written by Porter Wagoner):
